Every single Oasis Song - Complete Chord Songbook | 132 Songs with Guitar Chords and Lyrics | Guitar Songbook for Oasis Fans | Revised Edition with Hits from Dig Out Your Soul | Essential Chord Book : Oasis: desertcart.co.uk: Books Review: Great book - Bought as a gift for my son for Christmas - had a flick through it, looks good and plenty of songs in it for him to learn - ideal for a young oasis guitar playing kid Review: Yes, every single Oasis song - This book is great it covers every album from 'Definitely Maybe' to 'Dig Out Your Soul' and it provides the correct chord symbols with chord boxes showing you the fingerings for each chord. It describes the songs as being 'specially arranged from actual recordings, in the original keys' and I can't disagree with that, the fingerings are spot on. Symbols are placed above the lyrics so you know exactly where the changes come. It is laid out very well and tells you the order of how songs are played (Intro, verse, bridge, chorus, interlude/instrumental, outtro, coda etc) The book spans every Oasis album song from 'Acquiesce' to 'You've Got The Heart of A Star'. Covers of 'Hey Hey, My My', 'Cum On Feel The Noize', 'Helter Skelter, 'Heroes, 'I am The Walrus', 'My Generation' and 'You've Got To Hide Your Love Away' are all included. There are no really early songs like 'See The Sun' just songs from their commercially released nine albums. This is very nit-picky but It didn't have 'Let Forever Be'. Admittedly it was released as a 'Chemical Brothers' song but it was sung and co-written by Noel and should be included in a 'complete' Oasis chord/songbook. Noel's cover of 'Slade's' 'Merry Christmas Everybody', 'To Be Someone', 'There Is A Light That Never Goes Out' and 'This Guy's In Love with You' are not there. Pernickety but I just wanted to let people know who might have been expecting these songs. It goes without saying though that classics like 'Live Forever', 'Wonderwall' and 'Don't Look Back in Anger' are all included. The book also lets you know if/when and where a capo is needed and informs you of any special tunings. If you're an Oasis fan then you'll know all about their songs but this book really does offer something for everyone. The 'mad 'fer it' rockstar wanting to bash out 'Live Forever', 'Acquiesce' or 'Cigarettes and Alcohol' in their garage are given their fair share of fun. It also has those highly addictive, easily playable acoustic songs like 'Talk Tonight', 'Those Swollen Hand Blues' and 'Let There Be Love' which I play and sing along to all of the time. Even Liam songs are included, yes even 'Little James'! 'Songbird' is there, a very simple song but just so damn nice to play. It gives fingerings for the electric versions but if you have an acoustic then you can just look at the chord symbol and play the basic chord given. E.G ' The opening chord for 'Be Here Now' is named as a B5 (7-9-9-x-x-x) played on the 7th fret. Obviously this wouldn't sound good at all on an acoustic so I just play a B or B7 which sounds just great. There are not too many barre chords so that will be a relief for many beginner players and chord fingerings are generally pretty easy. Having said that songs like 'Married With Children' and 'All Around The World' do give your left hand a good workout re barre chords. Noel does seem to throw a spanner in the works sometimes with some odd shapes/progressions here and there like Fsus2 in 'Underneath The Sky' or the very drawn out intro to 'The Masterplan'. This book won't tell you how to perform the solo from 'Don't Look Back in Anger' or 'Live Forever' etc as the book is more for strumming and there are no fully tabbed versions for the finger-picked solos, it only provides the chord names and progressions. I would say songs can seem a bit repetitive, using similar chords but that's Noel Gallagher's style, it's not the books' problem. It is not a huge repertoire of songs compared to others I've seen with less than 130 original Oasis songs but again not the book's problem and I think 130 is plenty! The book comes with some black and white pictures of the band in various places around the world which is a nice added bonus. I use it all the time and it has certainly promoted and excelled my guitar playing abilities. There is a relative tuning guide at the back of the book along with a discography and filmography. Noel says 'he's an average guitarist who only knows 11 chords'. I know you'll have a blast playing each and every one of them with this book!

like so many other music books
Every song they ever recorded or performed live, in one book. I'd actually give this five stars but, like so many other music books, it has a hard spine rather than the very ergonomic ring spines you see on other books. Songs are all laid out in easy to read form with chord boxes to assist. Great stuff, and a recommend for a present for a fan or just someone wanting to learn some of their crackers, like myself.

Good book to learn any oasis songs
It’s good, the songs in the right keys and you will be able to play along with the original versions by the band

If worth its weight in gold to anyone learning the guitar 🎸 ✨️
Recently learning the Guitar and this book is certainly a Bible for Music fans providing you've mastered the basic chords but overall gives clear direction

You gotta roll with it.
It's a big thick book. But after a few days you start to realise every song is the same chords in a different order. Also. I've started really wanting to get into scraps with posh people and have ordered a giant parka jacket. I don't know if this is related. I've cut my hair with a bowl and having fallen out with my brother over quite what I can't remember. Does anyone know where I can get some round yellow glasses ?

Just starting to learn guitar and being the Oasis fan I am, I must know at least one Oasis song. Relying on the internet for explainations of how to play their songs can be overwhelming with variations or just wrong chords being played. This book lays out EVERY song well. Tabs are straight forward - when playing with a song in the background, it’s actually the exact chord used. Tuning and capo positions easily identified. Can’t go wrong owing it.
