Great quality yeast
We use a lot of quick action yeast in our food business, but this is easily the best we've found. It works every time, produces great results and is easy to use. If you are only going to use yeast once a month or less, then I would recommend buying individual sachets as it can deteriorate when left exposed to air. But, if you're going to use or once a week, then the price of this is hard to beat and much, much cheaper than individual sachets.

best yeast i have purchased.
was a bit sceptical as both packs of yeast were rock solid, until i carefully opened one! long use by date is a plus. loaf rose very well and didn't collapse! flavour was very good and the loaf is still soft on the second day. will be using this yeast in my bread maker from now on. 2 packs will last a long time.

Gluten free quick yeast
After a recent diagnosis of coeliac disease in the family we decided to make our own bread. There are several options for gluten free flours but it is very hard to find yeast with no gluten. This Doves Farm Quick Yeast is the only one I have found (there may be others but I've not seen them) and it works very well. We have used it for hand baked bread and in a bread machine with excellent results. Gluten free baking does require some experimentation but this yeast works brilliantly in every experiment. Thanks Doves Farm for a great quality gluten free product.

Excellent product
I make all my own bread and this yeast is the best on the market, in my opinion. Easy to use, just add it to the flour, keeps for ages in the fridge, and the rise is really good.

Great Yeast
It's so easy to use straight out of the packet and lasts a long time, still working well. The best yeast to buy and much better than individual packets

Dove Farm Yeast rises to the occasion
I mainly use this yeast to make bread in a bread machine, Having tried various yeasts for this purpose found that most gave inconsistant results, This Dove farms yeast works everytime no hassle (also makes pretty good hand made pizza dough). Started buying as an 8 pack because the local supplier I used to use did not always have supplies when I needed them and had gotten to be rather expensive, Buying 8 packs every 10-12 months is cheaper and more convenient.

Great yeast, allows complete control over quantity, lasts for years.
This yeast is amazing. It is just as easy to use as the packets but you get so much more yeast for your money here. Just 2 teaspoons is the same as a packet (7g). This product has the bonus that if you don't need the full 7g then you can just use as much as you need. I bought this yeast in 2011 and I still use it now. It still works just as well as it always has so I just ignore the best before date.

DO NOT BE NERVOUS ABOUT THE STIFFNESS OF PACKAGING! the way this is vacuum sealed it makes you think your gonna have a brick of yeast! it is not the case and when you open it is the normal granular type yeast. love this brand and the yeast really does well! i will say as an american, if you are using this recipe lessen the amount in your recipe. This is proper yeast and the stuff we buy here is clearly inferior. i.e. if it says 2 tbsp use 1 to 1 & 1/4 tbsp otherwise you will get a bit more of yeast taste in your mixture. truly amazing how are products are so different from uk and also sad at the same time. they have such better ingredients for sure!

I was really excited about this, but it must be old and no longer active as I have tried several tried and true recipes with not one loaf rising. Thought at first was just because I was using spelt and haven't made spelt bread in a while. But, regular wheat and bread flour both also didn't rise. Very sad...
