Draper 67068 Slimline Pruning Knife, Black

A real plus for use in the garden, slimline to fit in any pocket with ease, with an easy opening and locking mechanism I can heartily recommend this. In fact I've bought another one for my Dad as his fingers don't work as well as they did and this is so easy to use. Sharp blade which of course you could sharpen further if you wished but easily sharp enough to use when taking cuttings etc. I took the lanyard off mine as it was getting in the way but I can see how it would help keep it handy for some folk. Like most Draper products I've bought this is functional, well made and certainly worth the money.

I bought this primarily for pruning a large, neglected cordyline. It works well, cutting through tough, dried leaves and stems. It's very slim line, so it's handy. However working with it for a while, the handle starts to her a little uncomfortable on bear hands. But just wear gloves. It's kept it's edge well and sharpened easily.

The flat shape means it does not feel bulky in the pocket, yet it is still comfortable to hold in the hand and cuts cleanly. Locks open, take just a little care when closing it to keep fingers out of the way; thankfully it does not snap shut. I do not think it has any parts that can rust, as it is stainless steel.It really does slice through things, without seeming dangerously sharp when touched.Some may prefer a comfortable wooden handle, but the blade is very good on this.

I am very happy with this knife. The knife arrived promptly and I have to say it is a very good knife for the cheap price and is extremely sharp. I bought the knife for gardening and it is a good size (medium to large) for general work. The knife is a lock knife and is stainless steel. One small criticism is that the blade does not fit to neatly into the handle when closed, not a problem for me just a comment.

I got this for my Dad with some other gardening bits for him to use on his allotment, and he has been very pleased with it. The blade is very sharp and locks into place securely, so is ideal for its purpose. The cord attached to the knife is a real plus-point as it means that it can be worn around your neck or wound around your wrist so it doesn't get put down on the ground and lost (a frequent problem for my Dad!!). For the price the knife is brilliant, but I have often found this with Draper products; you don't have the buy the most expensive tools you can find to get the quality you need.

It went into the washing machine in my trouser pocket and snapped in several fragments. Otherwise a good light weight knife

I needed a pruning knife for my shrubs but had not used one before so I was a bit wary. This one was good and sharp and did a really nice job. Also I had no need to worry as I found it easy to use - much to my husband's relief - otherwise he'd have ended up doing the job, LOL.

it shows in pictuyre but not in details that it has a lock this means it is not legal to carry as an edc, I put in uk legal knives and this knife came up. it is sharp and feels nice as it going to be a knife for odd jobs at allotment and fields it will be okay but if i had in pocket and forgot then i can be done. so not happy it not say has a lock as i just brought as came up uk legal and no note saying had a lock on it.
