A delightful choice of parts.
Very useful for scientific sensor studies on your pc. Such is it compatible with UNO R3.

You need to think why you are buying this.
Arrived in a nice plastic case with compartments, a print out of the pictures of the units. Also a disc with the libraries and the wiring diagram for the module to the Arduino. The instructions are to wire are really easy to follow, you load up the file and off it goes. Each module is well made, though do not have the identity number on them which would have been a nice touch. My question is what are you learning? I know electronics, I wanted to learn C++ this does not help me. However; for what you get and the price it is a good buy, great for showing students in a lab etc. as it stands for home learning, not really thought through.

Good for experimenting and learning about automation
Great fun: it has all I need for experimenting and learning about using microcontrollers for automation. Can't wait to show the grandchildren! I plan to build a robot vehicle with them, adding a motor, a breadboard, some wires, a set of wheels and gears.

Great learning tool !!
Bought this kit (as most people probably will) as a learning aid for my son and his Arduino journey. Its not exactly a kit you would buy to make use of in any kind of commercial way. Most definitely a learning tool. The sensors are wide ranging and in order to demonstrate some of them, you'll need a fairly contrived example, but isn't that what most learning is about? Having some fun and dreaming up ways to make use of the sensors and show how to program them from the Arduino. The "soft materials" are excellent. There's a PDF full of info on how to do everything. If you're just starting out or an accomplished engineer, you can dive in wherever you need to in the documentation. Its very step-by-step and obvious. Thoroughly recommend this kit for teaching.
