I bought a Hollywood mirror and the lighting was atrocities so it went straight back.I then started thinking of other options for lighting my mirror for as close to natural daylight as I could get.After looking at loads of lights, I decided on two of these, and just WOW, they're brilliant.Super bright, absolutely perfect for flawless makeup application.I have one clamped to the top, either side, with the lights down to the sides but projected out a few centimetres to the side and towards me, and the effect is just fantastic.I can apply makeup so easily now, no shadows at all, no need for me to run to a window to check it's all evenly applied etc.Perfect for use in the day and also at night.I use the cool white setting on highest. I'm not a fan of warm lighting, but for those who prefer it, these lights give off a really nice warm warm light too, and can be dimmed right down.The clamps are uber sturdy and are padded so they won't scratch my mirror.The long chrome necks bend and loop they look tidy, and so you can position them exactly where you want them.I really cannot praise enough.I bought a double USB mains adaptor and this powers both lights perfectly.I now have the best lighting I could possibly get, at a fraction of the cost of a 'Hollywood' mirror.Highly recommended.

I recently bought a new keyboard and unfortunately it had no back lighting on the keys, so I purchased this light and was surprised at how good it actually is for such a low price. It just clips on to your desk and has an adjustable neck so you can place the light in any position you like. It does the job and I am very happy with this purchase, for the price this USB light is one of the best I've used so far. Highly recommend.

Love this! Bought this in lockdown for better visibility while working from home. After everything goes back to normal I will use this as my dressing table light due to how bright this lamp can go. This is perfect for what I wanted it for, the brightest setting is really bright and the most dim setting is really dim so I don't think I'll need to use either of those settings but in between are perfect for anything you could want! Would highly recommend, easy to set up/ use, very sturdy and looks nice.The clamp/ clasp doesn't open loads so need to be aware before purchasing of how you're going to secure it.

Cool little light, ideal for attaching to my up cycled frame, the clip itself is very strong and it did take me a few times to actually get it open, the light itself is really nice, modern too, it has two lighting colours, one is white and the other orange, both can be adjusted to which ever brightness you require, the neck is very flexible, the cable is not that long but as you can maybe see from the photo its long enough to connect to my adapter on a low unit and attach to my frame half way up the wall. I also really like the USB adapter, really pleased with this item, thinking about purchasing another , thank you

This has been the most useful lamp. Use for all my sewing and crafting. It’s great with having the different light levels - bright going to dimmer if required and also the choice of white light or yellow light. Highly recommend.

Bought for use beside bed, where I could clamp it onto bedside table or headboard.- Good choice of lighting types (3) and light strengths (3, although ten levels mentioned).- Good strong secure clamp that does not scratch surfaces.- Powered via USB into laptop etc. so no requirement for an additional mains plug socket.- Easy to direct light using flexible 'neck'.Unfortunately, what lets this item down is the poor quality switch control. Within the week the switch started playing up, depressing the small buttons was a bit of a toss up as far as would it work (turn on/off) or not...mostly not or only with multiple attempts. I often leave this turned on but with the lighting level at its dimmest, because the switch is being uncooperative.Given its low price, while on sale, I suppose it's worth taking a chance on, who knows you may be lucky enough to get a problem free one.I would only recommend this provided the person was willing to take a gamble on the power switch longevity.

There a number of these lamps on Amazon, so why give this one 5 stars?Well, it has a good number of LEDs and it's really bright at its brightest. I also don't like the lamps where you can see each individual LED. Ok, you know they're there with this one but the diffuser does a good job.They're not all the same and I've returned a few that looked alike but were rubbish.
