Love this conditioner as it's great for frequent washes after exercising but doesn't strip my afro hair of moisture.

Absolutely love Cantu product range. Works great on my afro coily hair. It's free from all harsh chemicals, which is good as I have sensitive skin. This product is nice but for a co wash it doesn’t help with build up like the reviews I’ve seen

My son's afro hair gets very dry and this is the only product I've found I can wash his hair with, without it drying out. Thanks Amazon as I can't find in shops near me so this is a lifesaver

It smells great, and is a nice product but you need to use a lot more than other conditioners and unfortunately it made my daughters curls and my hair frizzy, and skin itch. Too expensive for something your hair might not get a long with.

Seems to work well, wish they made a bigger one. Smells nice like all Cantu products!

I love this product so much I had to do a review. I purchased this co-wash on Amazon back in the fall (after big chop and beginning natural hair journey)and really liked the way it clarified my hair but when I ran out I went looking for it in a couple of beauty supply stores and did not find it so I tried the vo5 silky coconut conditioner because of reviews I saw on you tube. I ran out of the vo5 and am returning to the Cantu Shea Butter Co Wash. It does the best job in my opinion. Really like how my 4a/b hair feels after using it. I follow up with the Cantu Shea Butter leave in conditioner and my hair feels really soft and smells great. I have short/medium length hair so I just detangle use my shea butter and gel and wear my natural curly coils. Doubt if I will try any other co washes because as far as I am concerned this does just what I want it to do. Besides Cantu has a great line of products. I also use the coconut curling crème and deep treatment masque. FYI if you don't like the white stuff in your hair don't mix the curling crème with gel.

I'm happy with this co-wash even though I have fine, low-porosity and only slightly wavy hair, my scalp is not dry as well. It doesn't make me look greasy, but cleanses very gently and leave hair super soft. The point is that with co-wash you need to really work it into your hair and scrub with your fingers for few minutes, and it's gonna work. This one works good! Actually, i noticed that with cowash my hair need washing after 4-5 days, while with shampoo it happens on the 3rd day already. I think it's because scalp is more moisturized with cowash and doesn't produce so much sebum. I wouldn't use cowash only with my type of hair, shampoo is needed from time to time still. Cantu is great option if you have dry curly hair!

The co-wash by Cantu is 'okay'; I find the co-wash to be very watery! It does, however, work to cleanse my hair leaving it soft and shiny. It has a great scent and it also has 'a unique blend of shea butter, coconut oil, avocado oil, almond oil, jojoba seed oil, olive oil, mango seed butter and oil, carrot seed oil, and grapeseed oil', ingredients I love for my 4C hair. I use it every few days or whenever I have product build up in my hair before my usual wash day on Sunday. Overall, the product is 'okay', hence the four star rating. I also got a good deal on having two tubes for the price of one! Thank you, Amazon, for having a good product!
