Leukoplast Zinc Oxide Tape

I just have to say that this is that dirty, quick fix to any type of minor skin injury. First of all it is great at protecting blisters; 2 layers of this plaster prevents any further damage or discomfort throughout the day. You can apply it to minor cuts with some gauze padding, sticks better than any band aid. Major post op sutured wounds are no problem - just use plenty of gauze padding. This stuff is very sticky - great for staying on, however it can be a nightmare to deal with residual glue on skin: do not apply it on any area with hair, make sure the contact area is as far away from sutures as possible - or you will pull your stitches trying to get this off, better leave more padding around the wound. It lets air through - great for healing, but not so much if your hoping to keep ointment of any kind under it - will seep right through, so pad with some absorbent material. Lastly - if you have injured your hand - it will be very hard to apply this one handed, it takes a fair bit of effort to peel the plaster off the reel evenly - better ask for assistance. This is a cheap and durable alternative to plasters and padded gauze packs, I suggest buying it with a pack of 10cmx10cm 8ply gauze swabs and a disinfectant of your choice.

The tape works well and sticks great. Although by the end of the day it can stick your foot to shoes/socks while still attached to your foot. Seems to be working well.

This has proved to be really great for my needs so far. I'm trying to realign my patella and provide support to it through strapping, and need it to be very adhesive, non-stretchy and be able to cope with sweat and water. It's been all these things. Have just done a full weekend rock climbing with my knee strapped up, ending with a sea swim, and it stayed in place with no rolling up at edges or flapping ends at all. I've also been using it on a daily bike commute to work and then it stays on underneath trousers at work without sticking to my clothes. Really good product. The ONLY reason for knocking a star off (and I'd knock off only half a star if I could) is the pretty strong smell of this tape where other zinc oxide tapes haven't had any odour to them. It's not totally unpleasant, just very antiseptic-ish. I will be ordering more of this in bulk when I get to the end of this roll.

I bought this for my son to protect his veruccas during his Martial arts classes. My son has had veruccas for months now ( 6 months of podiatry didn't work) and I have been using this tape to cover them up during his martial arts classes. (3 times a week!) Since using this tape, I found that the veruccas have disappeared on their own! I think it is the zinc oxide in the tape that gradually killed off the veruccas! I'm so happy that his stubborn veruccas have now gone!

Yes. I should have checked what the "one size" said in the description. However the photo shows a wide tape. If you choose the default you get a 1.25 tape. That is too narrow for using for protecting feet while hiking. The tape is good quality but not fit for the purpose many people will be buying for. Won't be buying again.

I received what I ordered

They placed the biggest size in the picture, so if you can't see the size, it's most likely the smallest size. ☹️ The picture is so confusing.

I love this stuff, it's so durable! I cover blisters on my hands with it during drumming sessions and it stays stuck despite the sweat and friction it's subjected to. It also doesn't impact my grip like other tapes might, it's very flexible and has no problem with bending at finger joints etc. I also put this on my heels before wearing new shoes, I find it prevents blisters forming while I wear them in. Also if I have a large blister or cut or mosquito bite in an area like my foot, areas prone to sweating, bending or encountering high friction; I use this over a plaster since regular plasters often won't stay stuck in these circumstances. Finally I have a Verruca at the moment (lovely, I know) and I use this to cover it after applying treatment. It still sticks even with the treatment underneath and doesn't seem to affect its' effectiveness.
