Poor design
I was looking forward to getting this product. There were three main problems. 1. The clamps did not hold the circular saw in place. The carriage was not very sturdy and the saw kept moving resulting in a inaccurate cut. For BORA, recommend clamps on all four sides. 2. It was not easy to manipulate if you were making a small trim to the piece of wood. 3. While the saw can be flipped around, it would have been great if the handle and guide were interchangeable to make it easier for left-handed people and still keeping the clamps on the correct ends of the saw.

Could use some improvement
I like that it’s light weight and easy to adjust. The rip scale is easy to calibrate and locks securely. However, the clamping mechanism that holds your skill saw to the guide is flimsy and keeps letting the shoe plate wiggle loose.

Poor engineering and quality
The saw does not lock in very well at all. And only one measurement side locks as well, leaving other end of saw to flap around. Extremely disappointed in this product. Especially with a name like Bora. I wish I had tried it as soon as I bought it. At least I would have been able to get my money back with a return. Shame on this brand. Flimsy plastic with horrible way to lock in saw and doesn't lock in measurement from front of saw and back of saw. Defeats the whole purpose I bought this for

Works great!
Last year I purchased the kreg version of this, but it was always hard to slide to different cut widths, and was made of flimsy material. This guide is honestly amazing compared to the other one. I’m using my ryobi saw and it fits great. I wish I had bought this option first!

Bora twin rail rip guide is a winner!
The build quality of this rip guide is outstanding! I really appreciate how stable it feels when I am making rip cuts for hours. I have used other rip guides in the past and they were all junk, which made me hesitate to buy yet another one. However this one is different! The rails are very sturdy, I like the "knurling" on the handle. The micro adjust works great. Overall I would really recommend this!

Not great for repeat cuts of same size
One of the better guides out there, but a bit wobbly. Not good for repeat cuts. We ended up going freehand. I saw issues with reviews before purchasing but thought I could glue the pieces together some how for just one project. In the end that would of just been another project on top of the current project of ripping plywood into wood flooring. It's good if you just need something relatively straight for a project like a sign. If the lock piece was on the front AND the back it might actually work! This was the only one I saw that even attached to the back of the saw. So they're on the right track....

Does not fit Makita saw as the battery is located at the locking position unable to lock the saw in place

Very poor product. The saw sled is only secured on the front. Back of sled can move back and forth easily a half inch or more on the frame which makes for very poor quality cuts. If you secure the saw in the sled tight it bows the sled. If you lay the whole thing down the saw sled will pop off the frame requiring it to be set up again, and the saw doesn't fit securely on the sled.

Should have purchased this a long time ago. Saves a lot of time from having to measure using a tape. No more hunting for a straight edge and clamps, pencil prior to sawing
