I've been playing the guitar for some time now, however only as a hobby/bedroom guitarist. However, I can say that these strings have certainly impressed me. After putting them on, they held a tune for a awesome amount of time. These strings also sound f***ing great - a whole, chirpy sound. By far the best strings on the market for metal acoustic strings. I will be trying Elixir strings on my Les Paul too and will update this review! To conclude, I simply won't be buying any other brand ever again.

These strings offer a beautiful tone with the coating and give a good long life for playing.

Un poco duras, teniendo en cuenta que pasé de 0.10 a 0.13 y mi mano se resiente con las cejillas, pero por el sonido que sale de estas cuerdas vale la pena soportar el dolor que produce. Mi acústica tiene la caja pequeña y aún así con estas cuerdas el sonido es espectacular, un poco más agudo pero muy bonito. Al principio la afinación varía mucho pero una vez las cuerdas se acomodan la variación es minima. Para evitar sobre estiramientos aconsejo hacer una primera afinación medio tono por debajo de lo habitual, y tocar un rato para que se acomoden poco a poco.

Very expensive. Have a horrible metallic tone. I did not like the strings. Also very hard on the fingers.

I installed this set on my 1969 Guild Acoustic. I have went through so many strings in the past. I have been using these for 3 years now and I am only on my second set. Durable, long lasting, quality guitar strings. Smooth and softer on the fingers. Sure cuts down on the slide noise. I have also purchased these for my 12 string and will never switch back to cheap strings again. These last 3 times as long as the $10 cheap ones and would have lasted longer if I didn’t over tighten my strings from changing my tuning so much. Simply the best strings. I was happy when my new taylor GS mini guitar came with these strings in a med. gage already. The best sounding guitar with the best strings, what a great combo.

This is a replacement string for my acoustic guitar. Delivery time was fine and packaging ensured that it was delivered with no dents or bends. Excellent string with rich, full and smooth tones.

I have used Elixir for years and years. I will say that I have not had great success with the polyweb as I've broken a few strings. But the nanoweb have been quality for me. I like the length of string life and also the bright sound. They are easy to slide fingers up and down the fretboard as well. If you haven't tried these for acoustic, put it on your list to give a chance!
