Not a tequila aficionado but this is nice near or mixed with soda water and lime. Good quality blue agave tequila. There are much better sipping tequilas (reposado/añejo) but I’m not a fan of those for some reason.

If you are looking for that vegetal/mineral taste in your Margarita, then go for Olmeca Altos. This has a much sweeter profile, with vanilla and slight caramel notes. I can't comment on how it is as a sipper at that's not how I take mine but it's a relatively inexpensive example of good quality and when it's around £20 ish with the extra 5 per cent off for ordering 3, no brainer.

Good value and taste

Fantastic product, good amount of tequila for the money. First bottle of tequila I've bought and its definetley worth the price. José Cuervo gives terrible hangovers and is not 100% agave (ie half of what tequila should taste like. This other hand is and you can taste it. Perfect for mixes/cocktails. Will buy again or even the reposado which looks great too!.

Bought this for making Magaritas and Palomas. Excellent value from Amazon cheaper than at the supermarket. Good quality.
