As someone who usually loves sweet coffee, I was surprised at how much I enjoyed this coffee black. The flavor is incredibly smooth and rich on its own, with no bitterness, which really says a lot. A little goes a long way too—it lasts a long time, making it even more worth the price. I let several people sample it, and every single person loved it. Another big plus is that I didn’t experience any jitters after drinking it, which is rare for me. The flavors are amazing, and considering the quality and how long it lasts, the price is absolutely worth it ☕

What I'd like to explain is I've tried many, many different companies and roast levels of coffee and had never found one I liked. Tried these on a whim because I'm trying to find an alternative to soda for caffeine and hot chocolate when hunting. Sumatra blend was flavorful and could easily taste the earthy flavors but had an aftertaste that seemed bitter to me though a little sugar easily got rid of it. A friend of mine suggested it's due to it being the dark roast and went to one of the lighter samples and much better. To be honest if your a cigar smoker you will love this coffee. Kenya was good you can smell the wheat and taste the chocolate easily enough. I liked adding a small amount of creamer and powdered peanut butter to this one. Rwanda was interesting, if you dont like ginger you may not like this one as you taste it first and foremost. A little honey help balance the flavors and bring the caramel and brown sugar forward more but you will still taste the ginger. Ethiopian was a shock to the mind. Its essentially tea, I love tea so I dont mind it but I was expecting coffee. It's still very good and flavorful but you taste everything but coffee.

I am a big coffee drinker and I was totally disappointed by these four single origin coffees. I brewed myself and others various grind sizes on espresso machine, bialetti moka pot as well as french press. Each time there was close to no aroma or specific flavour compared to other speciality coffee beans. Moreover, the other speciality coffee beans I usually buy from my city are twice cheaper. I consider these beans highly overpriced for what they can offer! One of the few if not the only interesting feeling I had was a propolis-like aftertaste for the Sumatra which I suppose is due to the ginger hints. In conclusion, I do not recommend these beans because one can find much better taste and aroma for half the price.
