It’s a practical size, with mounting hardware, and a very solid and rugged unit. I mounted it to the floor facing up in the back of a closet filled with cleaning supplies, with a dummy cardboard box over it labeled “Mop Refills”.

The original vault did not work as advertised, but the Adimo support team did an EXCELLENT job of taking care of my issue. I would definitely do business with them again.

This is a great product, but it has inadequate product support from the company. The safe comes with an external battery box and a pair of emergency keys to give you alternate ways of opening the safe in the event you forget the passcode or the internal batteries die. Obviously, you should not store these emergency items in the safe, so I had stored them separately in our basement. The problem is, we had a clean-out of the basement and now I cannot find the box of emergency items. I contacted the company with a request to purchase the items, since I was aware that my safe was out of warranty. Their first response was that they couldn’t help me because my safe was out of warranty. When I went back and repeated to them that I was not making a warranty claim - as I had already intimated - but wanted to buy the necessary items, they simply told me they no longer have the parts. Due to the company’s inability or unwillingness to support their product, their unhelpful customer service, and the fact that you may not be able to get replacements if you lose the emergency opening items, I do not recommend buying any products from this company.

No way this thing is water PROOF, as claimed. The door does not seal nearly well enough to be waterproof. Fire proof is questionable also, since the gaps around the door are not going to keep the intense heat of a fire out. They provided a fireproof bag, but again, claimed that the safe itself was fireproof. Surely the walls and door are, but money will burn if exposed to direct heat, so......Also, you need the key to open it with the code. Why?

I waw very impressed. Small but very sturdy. I thought the construction was good and every instruction was easy to follow. It took me about 5 minutes to get the batteries loaded and the new password programmed. Very easy.
