Fantastic brew
I'm a first timer and this produced a tast first batch. Only caveat is the container it comes in - I left it aside for a few days and it started to leak. I would move it to a glass container as soon as received. That's my mistake though, the actual product is perfect and id recommend it

Tiny scoby for 5 litres
Bought this for a 5 litre Kombucha brew. The scoby is the same size I have been using for my 2 litres, it is tiny!

1st brew not so good
you know I was going to give this a detailed review but just realised that they haven't put the effort in you'd expect as a customer so why would I put the effort in to tell them what they should fix. It's not terrible but no it's really not great.

NO INSTRUCTIONS
The instructions are allegedly available on an app. However, amongst tons of instructions for other products which you have to scroll through, there are no specific instructions for this product on the app, or written anywhere. So the scoby remains on the side til i get so bored looking at it, I throw it in the bin. I should have returned it immediately. It's already been months. I look at the package in the hope of having a lightbulb moment, but it hasn't came yet.

Not 1L, be warned
I was looking for a decent batch of starter liquid. Stumbled on this product which says 1L, so I assumed that there would be a big quantity of starter liquid. But there's under 100 ml of starter liquid so be warned when you read this product's misleading title.

disappointed
paid twenty pounds for a scoby that's tiny. Nothing like the images they sell show you holding with two hands. Money back.

Ordered 17 March 2025, best before on both packages is 31 August 2024!
