Excellent remote 4G security camera
This 4G web camera is an excellent product. The price for what you get is very good. I researched many different cameras and I decided on this one. Considering everything, it was the best choice. We use our camera to monitor cattle, their water, and the general security of our land. Our land is remote. The camera picks up a good signal from AT&T, Verizon, or T-Mobile. The connection is always solid. The app works great. The app notifications work great. We use the memory card to record the motion activated videos. Then access the recorded videos remotely via 4G, the memory card, and the app. We set up multiple users for the camera on the app. So, all users can view live, recorded videos, and manipulate the camera direction. All users can also set up notifications for anytime a video is recorded by the motion sensor. The motion sensor has a screen on the app to disable blocks of areas. For example, if a tree branch is causing the motion sensor to trip, you can block this area. This greatly reduces activation from trees, grass, and anything that moves that you don't want recorded. The customer service and support via the app text messaging is fast, responsive, and accurate. The users guide is clear and helpful. We buy the annual data plan on the app. It lasts the whole year even in HD quality camera mode. The data plans are priced good. I bought a segmented pool cleaning pole from Amazon to mount the camera up high. I used steel zip ties from Amazon to secure the camera to the pole holes where the pool skimmer net would go. Then use the same zip ties to mount the pole to the fence T-post. I mounted the solar panel on the same pole. I taped the removable pole segments to reduce the play. I left one segment without tape, so I can bring the camera and solar panel down for maintenance. The only maintenance I had to do was to replace the memory card after about 6 months of use. It may have failed from the heat. With a new card everything worked fine even in the heat and cold. The only recommendation I have for this product is to use a lens that will last in the sun and elements. Maybe use a glass lens. Maybe a visor to block the sun from hitting the lens. Or a replaceable plastic lens. The sun caused crazing of the plastic lens after about 1 year of use. The crazing caused the lens to be cloudy, so the image quality went down. I had to get a replacement camera at no charge, except for paying for the return shipping. The camera was just outside of its 1 year warranty period. Customer service decided to send me a replacement anyways. We have used the camera and app for over a year now. Other than the memory card failing and the lens clouding, everything works great. We highly recommend this product. The 2 attached photos are taken from the camera using the screenshot button.

Perfect security camera
The instructions are easy to follow. This camera is easy to setup. The app is easy to use. The activity detection is on point and alerts me when there is any motion detected! The zoom in is Great! The convenience of being able to control the camera from your phone. The crisp clear video even picks up license plates that you can actually read! These are only pictures. Due to security reasons n protecting the privacy of those who use my library Game Center and pantry I will not post a live video. The video is amazing! I have added the camera as a phone line n have unlimited data through Verizon. No matter what way you go cameras cost. So I pay a monthly fee. Which is worth it to not have to worry about running out of data. Needed this for security purposes it has far exceeded my expectations. Cloud video won’t work once you switch over to your phone company but you don’t need it. I prefer the The SD card because it’s saves everything and records all the activities taking place without draining the battery. You can also delete everything off the SD card periodically or as often as you want. Win! Win! For me! I have the security I needed so to me it’s worth it. Network wake-up puts the camera in battery saving mode until it detects activity. That’s another awesome benefit to adding it to your phone line. As well as in the long run it saves you money and you don’t have to worry about activity eating up your data. Having the security you need. I have decided to add screenshots I saved from my camera that don’t compromise my security. Just to show an example of how high, right, left, up camera goes it is totally impressive I didn’t even turn it the max 360 in either direction. Literally the best camera ever with the widest range that is really mind boggling how much property this one camera can surveillance. The speaker is amazing you can hear everything anybody is saying. The motion censor lights stay on until they move out of sensor detection area and records everything. The sensor detection is a wide range like the camera. The camera also moves down n I have had to move it down when the occasion arose. This camera has far exceeded my expectations.

Great product!
I’ve been using this camera for a few weeks now, and I’m really impressed with both the product and the service. The image quality is great for the price, and setup was simple even for someone who’s not super tech-savvy. What really stood out to me, though, was the customer support. I had a few technical questions, and Mia from the support team went above and beyond to help me. She was kind, patient, and incredibly knowledgeable. Thanks to her guidance, everything is working perfectly. It’s rare to find such responsive and helpful support these days, so I truly appreciate the effort. Highly recommend this camera!

OCTOBER 2024 UPDATE... READ BEFORE YOU BUY.
Update 10/28/24 Decided to go with another camera system, I have three of these and they require more maintenance and set up than I bargained for. The solar panels don't charge the batteries fast enough. The UBOX app only works on phones and is a buggy app. It may be plug and play, but the constant maintenance isn't worth the effort. It's also very expensive per year for could storage, well over a $100 if not caught on sale. The other thing is that there is no way to use the app on Windows 11 or any PC for that matter, which would make it more easy to monitor the camera's 24/7/365. Update 9.6.23 I've been having issues with the UBOX APP, the app works fine on my cellphone, but on PC it's another story. I have two computers, one is a Windows 8.1 and the other is a Windows 11. I use the Blue Stacks applet that allows you to run Android apps on PC. Blue Stacks Works fine on Windows 8.1 but on Windows 11 it won't run on the latest Blue Stacks 5/X version, be warned that the UBOX app isn't even offered on the Google play store here. I've contacted Blue Stacks about the problem and they recommended I uninstall and reinstall it which I did, I even wiped the hard drive and reinstalled it and Blue Stacks still does not operate on Windows 11 nor does it offer UBOX app in the play store. I am currently trying different things and will report back here as soon as I figure out a solution. It could be the anti-virus is interfering with the install as well, or I may have to try to find a different app that can run the UBOX app on PC. The idea that there is not a readily available PC friendly version of UBOX is concerning, it makes these camera's more a novelty for your phone than an actual security device in that regard. You can only view one camera at a time, not two or more on a single display, and that makes this a weak choice for an actual security solution. Perhaps they may fix it in the future, but I wouldn't hold my breath. Original updated review. POWER PROBLEMS SOLVED! Update 7.28.23 After being contacted by the seller inquiring if I wanted a refund or exchange I declined and ordered 2 more of these camera's. They're good camera's and do the job I need them to do, albeit I'm using a direct power solution. The solar panel would be great for redundancy, if the camera had two power ports that take a charger and the solar panel, that would be ideal but the charger works fine for my uses of 24/7 surveillance better than the solar panel. The solar panel works great, so long as it contacts direct sunlight, but on cloudy days it will struggle to reach a full recharge. But if you don't have power like on a trail or far off part of your property, its better than nothing at all. I do like the camera's, enough that I ordered a couple more and I'm gonna repeal my original review, and bump it up to five stars now that I got the bugs worked out for my uses. As for the solar panels, so far I'm unable to figure out a way I can use both the panel and the charger to power the camera, so I got another use for them powering a battery bank with LED lighting on my property, and for that they work great. My only other gripe is I wish they would make the app more PC friendly, it would be a nice to have to have all my camera's visible live on one screen.. I have to use Blue Stacks to open the UBOX app on my PC/laptop, and can only view one camera at a time. If there was a way I could view all my camera live on one screen, now that would be awesome! Perhaps in the future they'll update the app or software for these camera's in the future, and figure out a dual port power solution for a charger and solar for redundancy. I would throw my wallet at the screen if they could do that. Update; 8.7.23 I don't know what the deal is? But the cloud service isn't uploading my camera's video to the cloud? It's been like this for a few days now. I checked all the settings. I purchased a one year cloud service package but when I go to check my recordings, it's just blank? If it keeps on doing this I'm gonna reach out to UBOX and find out what the issue is, so stay tuned.

UPDATED. **Not reliable ** App to Cam Connection Terrible
BEWARE! Please Read the whole review before buying this camera Below this feedback was my first review But I wanted to add that I have purchased 4 cams and at this point I have had nothing but trouble with all 4 units. Now NONE of them will charge. After hundreds of emails to customer service I finally get a confession that the 8watt solar panel provided will not maintain the battery and keep the unit running. Instead I was told that a 20 watt solar panel fixes the issue. But here’s where this company goes 100% south. I was told by customer service that they would give me upgraded panels only if I removed my comments on Amazon. I told them I wouldn’t util I saw that the new 20 watt panels fixed the discharging issue. I have not heard a peep from customer service since. I never write feedback like this but it’s all the complete truth. There are design flaws with this cam and frankly I’d like to see it removed from Amazon for it in no way performs as advertised… 4 units ..none work People rely on these for security- but the company could care less. Many people don’t bother pursuing claims and just throw these away but I am sick of junk being sold where there is no recourse days after the Amazon / manufacturer return policy ends.if you are having issues by all means post a feedback and let Amazon know. ———- (Prior feedback) If and when the unit connects ( app to cam) the unit seems to work well. I have tried this unit for a month and have had constant connection issues. With a 30 day return policy I thought I’d be good but it seems customer support replies long enough to run out the clock on returning the unit. **I cannot return it now and still have issues with it. I’m using the SIM card and services provided in the box. I bought their cloud and data plan which was reasonably priced and Verizon is my carrier. I’ve been in constant communication with customer service but each time less of my questions are answered. After 100’s of failed attempts to connect to my cam and with canned responses coming from customer service I felt the right thing to do was to write a fair and honest review so others would know what they are getting into. Other issues worth mentioning, the unit is suppose to see movement and “ push” an alert to your phone. The only time I got push alerts is when it was me standing in front of the camera with my phone in hand. I live 150 miles from the my cams location. I bought this because it claimed to push alerts from anywhere there is cell service. Service at the cam location is a continuous 2-3 bars -service at home is 2-3 bars occasionally dipping to 1 bar. Times when I did manually connect there were turkeys, birds , chipmunks etc in view however I never got an alert nor could I hear them. The motion of the cam is very good as well as the picture SD decent HD excellent. A future upgrade should be a 360 view currently the cam travel is limited to 270 degrees. The solar panel recharges the batteries very well however the mount and angle adjustment need to be way better. It’s very cheaply made unlike the rest of the unit which seems stout. The free app is very basic and not user friendly. The app needs a serious upgrade. It seems half done and not thought out. Sound cannot be heard meaning you cannot listen when you log in. Ambient sound can’t be heard. The microphone does send your voice out pretty loud. When I was setting the cam up at its location I could speak to my wife through the cam and hear her reply on the phone. At home I have yet to hear any sounds from near animals. The only sound I hear is a faint camera movement buzz when I manually reposition it. Whatever triggers the microphone needs upgrading. * I feel this unit is in the early stage of its product cycle and is relying on consumer complaints instead of solid product development testing. I think it’s well on its way of being an excellent product but the above mentioned issues negatively impact the positives, those being price point, picture quality, quiet smooth movement, waterproofing, mechanical fit and form. I have offered pro beta testing input however the company isn’t interested. I give it a * thumbs up ( 3 stars) on fit and form And a *thumbs down ( 1 star) on reliability and connection. * A security cam must be functioning 24/7 I may do a You Tube for many times on Amazon a seller will relist under other accounts resetting valuable customer feedback I hope this helped you make an informed decision. **Update:** It gets worse !! After much arm twisting I received a replacement camera. The new unit worked fine for a couple of months Then it started discharging quickly. Nothing changed as far as installation. The solar panel would only keep the unit charged to 5-10% . I could log in but could not control the camera. I sent countless emails to customer service however they now refuse to reply. After a 6 mo nightmare and 2 cameras it’s safe to *highly * suggest that if you are thinking of buying this unit - DON’T !! They do not hold up and are completely unreliable. After 100’s of emails I end up with a pc of junk with no recourse. Look to You Tube where I will soon be posting detailed documented facts as to the flaws of this product and lack of customer service. Also to buy their data plan you are forced to use their sketchy payment site. I seldom write negative reviews but this company feels because they are based in CHINA they won’t be held to USA manufacturing safety and reliability standards.

If you are thinking about buying one just do it!
So far , I love this camera. I purchased the set up with no WiFi — it works great in my barn!!! The price point was great — easy to set up — (there is a YouTube video that walks you through the process if you don’t like working from manuals.) the company also followed up after my purchase to make sure everything was ok and sent pictures and descriptions to further assist me with my set up. Picture quality is great. I can watch my horses closely from anywhere !! Unfortunately I had a defective battery but the tech department kept in touch constantly and sent me out a new camera immediately. I shipped back my camera for free. The goal of this camera company is to make sure the customer is happy. And they succeeded. I plan to buy more cameras for my property. 😊 Update: one of my cameras won’t hold a solar charge. I had it in a tree to view fields so I had to get ladder etc to take it down to charge it. I finally had to move it to the barn so I can easily plug it in to charge it . This is the 2nd of 3 cameras that have had battery issues and I have been unable to contact seller — my son has more expensive cameras that have worked better. Although I was unable to contact seller directly , I have been able to get a response from customer service. Yilia has been my contact person and has handled my issue with my camera seamlessly. Even though I was outside the return window from Amazon , my camera was replaced quickly after trying to trouble shoot the issue of being off line . I really appreciate the support

Great camera, excellent customer support!
Camera works good, at times there is a bit of a lag but I know it’s not in an area with the best signal. After a few months I had a critter or a limb break the charging cable from the solar panel to the camera. I msgd customer support through the app asking what charging port the camera uses so I could try and search for an aftermarket one. They answered my question, then proceeded to question what I had wrong with it. They requested pics of the damage, screenshot of my amazon order #, & then my address. Without any more questions they msgd me to let me know a new solar panel was on the way! I was in no way asking for it to be covered but they stepped up and did! So with the ease of use, great function of the system & the excellent customer service they provide I’d highly recommend this product if your in the market for a cell service style security camera!

Surprisingly Awesome ~ Great Camera & Even Better Support
I bought this Ebitcam 4G LTE Cellular Security Camera for a remote property that doesn’t have WiFi, and honestly, I wasn’t expecting much but I have been really impressed! Setup was smoother than I expected, and the fact that it came with both a memory card and SIM card was a huge plus. I popped in the SIM, followed the instructions, and was up and running pretty quickly. The solar panel keeps it powered just fine, even in partly cloudy weather. The 2K video is clear, the 360° live view is super handy, and the color night vision is better than any other camera I’ve used in this price range. It’s perfect for monitoring driveways, gates, or barns where running power and internet isn’t an option. What really sets this apart, though, is the customer support. I had a few setup questions and was honestly expecting the usual robotic replies. But I got a real person named Deer who was incredibly kind, patient, and knowledgeable. They basically held my hand while I embarrassingly fumbled through learning the app, and even followed up to make sure everything was working properly. They care, and didn't make me feel stupid while I learned. That kind of service is rare these days. If you need a no-WiFi outdoor camera with solid features and actual customer support behind it, this is the one to get. Big thanks again to Deer and the Ebitcam team!
