I bought this to scan ISBN barcodes of books. I thought it was cool how it came with a book of codes that you scanned to make the scanner do different things. You can customize it to always stay on, to only come on when you scan something, or to manually turn it on and off yourself. You can customize which types of codes you'll be scanning, as well. It can even scan QR codes. I'm not the most spatially inclined person so it took a lot of brainpower to figure how to get the thing into the stand, but I finally figured it out. Overall, I really like this scanner.

Very easy to set up. Reads quickly an accurately. Bought 3 more after the 1st one.

It reads most barcodes including GS1 2D barcodes. There are some 2D databar codes that it cannot read. The most annoying thing that it does is that it changes the input method every time a barcode is scanned which must then be re-entered manually. This is a problem because this also changes the character encoding which causes the input of bad data.

Received scanner with manual, the manual allows you to make changes to the scanner. The seller also emailed me the manual in PDF format, so if I lose the manual, I can print my own. I have used it for several days, using it to do hardware inventory and I print my own descriptions and with a quick scan of the description then the piece of equipment I'm done. Use the CR after each scan for the software but there are other options. I have scan a bunch of different stuff and have had zero issues.

This product wasn't working on my computer for some reason. Not sure why. So I reached out to the seller and they tried working through the issue with me. When that didn't work, they sent me a replacement (a better model!) for free! Truly stellar customer service. I fully recommend this scanner as well. Simple and easy and fast! Thank you AnyEast.

When we first purchased was working fine but within 2 weeks it began to become glitchy, where it would not read the entire bar code and the more time went on, the scanner became less and less reliable and continued to take more and more attempts to scan before it would finally scan an entire code and now it won't scan a full code at all. Do NOT purchase this item

Could not get it set up to work with anything

We ordered 2 of these scanners in October of 2022 and they worked great. However, one of them stopped working so I emailed the company Anyeast to troubleshoot the scanner. They offered to ship us another one and we received it today. The company was prompt in responding to my email and handling my issue. They were courteous and willing to make sure their product was replaced in a timely manner. D. Davis

Ich habe einen großen Bestand an Comics und Mangas, die ich seit jeher versuche in irgendeiner Form elektronisch in einer Datenbank festzuhalten. Bisher habe ich diese mit QR-Codes und einer eindeutigen ID versehen gehabt, um die Suche zu vereinfachen, was sich dann aber in der Echtwelt-Anwendung deutlich schwieriger herausgestellt hat, als es sein müsste. Um mir da viele Sachen zu vereinfachen war ich daher schon lange auf der Suche nach einem dedizierten Barcode-Scanner der sowohl 1D-Barcodes (also z.B. das normale EAN13-Format) als auch 2D-Barcodes wie QR-Codes lesen könnte und bin daher auf dieses Produkt gestoßen. Die Verarbeitungsqualität vom Scanner ist ausreichend bis okay, nichts wirklich überragendes oder hochwertiges, aber für meine Einsatzzwecke sicher mehr als nur Ausreichend. Die Einstellung des Scanners erfolgt anhand von Barcodes, die lediglich in der Anleitung abgedruckt sind. Geht diese verlustig, sind diese weg. Das ist schade und ich frage mich wirklich, warum man hier nicht Softwaregestützt nachbessern kann, es handelt sich doch schon um ein USB-Gerät. Dafür ist alles andere aber wirklich Plug&Play. Scanner eingesteckt und QR-Code gescannt und schon beginnt der PC wie wild zu tippen. ID, Name, Autor, alles was sich im QR-Code versteckt hält, wird plötzlich leserlich aufgeschlüsselt. Insgesamt also alles was ich benötige, jetzt darf ich mir nur Gedanken dazu machen, wie ich ein anständiges Warenwirtschaftssystem programmieren kann, das diese Daten sinnhaft aufgreift. --- Ich habe dieses Produkt im Zuge des Amazon Vine-Programms kostenfrei zu Review-Zwecken zur Verfügung gestellt bekommen. The wired barcode scanner is well-made and comes with a useful stand, making it perfect if one plans to have it set to continuously scan. It was seen by my laptop as soon as I plugged it in without the need of any extra software. I printed off a readily available barcode test sheet, and it was able to scan all the common and popular barcodes without issues and very quickly. I tested it with Notepad focused and everything transmitted as soon as it was scanned. Overall, it does what it says and should do the job perfectly if you need a 1D and 2D scanner!

Easy to assemble the stand is useful for holding the scanner and was able to join the stand together within a matter of seconds. Plugging the scanner into my computer, the scanner was recognised making it plug and play right away. I was able to scan barcodes and add the barcade numbers to my online store and POS system for easier scanning and product matching when taking the scanner into a live environment 4 out of 5

I needed a barcode scanner for inventory work in our small warehouse, and this USB-wired model has been a solid performer from day one. It was truly plug-and-play—I connected it to my Windows laptop, and it was ready to go without any extra drivers or setup. I’ve also tried it on a Mac and had zero issues. The stand is a great bonus, especially for hands-free scanning at the checkout counter. It reads both 1D and 2D barcodes quickly, including QR codes, even when they’re slightly smudged or on curved packaging. The scanning speed is surprisingly fast, and it doesn’t need perfect aim or lighting to register properly. I’ve used it with our POS system as well as for stocktaking, and it handles both like a champ.
