Grease Trap plastic 5 GPM Under Sink for Home Kitchen, Foodtrack, Canteen, Cafe, pizzeria, pastry shop

I bought this grease trap for my home kitchen and couldn’t be more satisfied. It handles up to 5 GPM and traps grease efficiently — even after heavy cooking days. Cleaning is quick; just open the lid and dump the collected grease. The design feels solid and well-made, and I appreciate the clear instructions included. Since installing it, my sink drains much better and I’m no longer worried about greasy buildup. This has made kitchen cleanup easier and given me peace of mind. Highly recommend it!

Smart design for grey water management that pulls grease and debris out of drain water and preventing buildup in parts of system that are tougher to clean and service! Also works great as an access point to put in drain cleaner, root killer etc! Solid box, lid, latches (time will tell if latches are corrosion resistant…) easy to open and clean out anything collected and separated from grey water. Pay attention to the pipe fittings size during install. Seemed the two fitting (2” threaded to PVC) were actually a little oversized on the PVC pipe side. I Used schedule 40 pipe and just swapped the included fittings for better quality fittings to ensure a good tight fit up. I plan to buy another one for an outdoor kitchen sink drain system!

The city code for the plumber changes since last few years: it requires the grease trap for the small business with 3 compartment sinks. The item fits perfectly for this purpose. Ease to install, save a lot of money if DIY Cover sealed for the bad odor (need to flush, to clean every 4 or 6 weeks, using grease trap cleaning tablets) Value for the price comparing to other models (steel, ....)

Excellent addition to me kitchen sink! Saves my septic!

This works as advertised. The enzyme tablets are recommended by me. I used easy disconnect unions in my installation. It catches the grease and the tablets eat the grease up. Cleaning is surprisingly easy. The female fittings supplied did not fit normal 2” pipe as advertised. I didn’t use them because I used the disconnect unions as recommended in the installation video. I couldn’t figure out what size pipe used in the USA or Canada would fit. (2” PVC/CPVC were too small for the fitting.) It was weird and the plumbing supply dept. couldn’t help.

It was a good size for under the sink cabinet installation. It was some what difficult due to the pre existing drain/vent built into the wall was 15 inches, the grease trap needed 6 1/2, and the clearance between the sink strainer and the top of the Grease Trap was not there. I cut through the floor and installed a lower drain still reconnecting the pre existing drain to acquire the vent for air displacement. Works well, I will get back to you after more experience.

Works, but is leaking. Leaks on both sides. Apparently it stays full as shown on picture. No wonder the smell builds up. The lid has a hole which traps water inside of it. It has a white plastic cork on it which can be removed. Slushing the water around to remove is a task. That too will eventually smell. I plan to add more clamps on the sides that leak. Hopefully that will fix the leak.

This product works great in my commercial bakery. My plumber was a crook and “couldn’t fix” the old one. He quoted me $6k to install this one. Thanks to the easy to read instructions and a little common sense. I was able to install it myself and save a lot of money. Thanks grease trap!

Too small

Unit looks solid but we haven’t installed it as it does not come with the pipe connections so we haven’t installed to buy those separately
