Many people say that carbon dioxide ingots are useless! I doubt it, but it's a German sera product and I'm trying to buy and use it. Because it is a famous brand of a big factory, it will not be produced casually. I want to talk about products; The dosage on the instruction manual! If you use it according to it, you will lose your expectations. Let's put it this way! I take my pills, but I don't have a CO2 monitor! Therefore, it is not clear whether the carbon dioxide in the fish tank is present or sufficient, or how it exists! This time I use the monitor, and I can see that it is blue liquid! Verify that there is no carbon dioxide in the fish tank, even the pills put in earlier! I'll put a piece first and pay attention to the change of the monitor. It didn't change at first, but after a while, I noticed that the liquid in the monitor changed slightly from dark blue! I suspected I was wrong, I suspected ❓ in my heart, so I put the second tag in, but I couldn't help putting the third tag in! At first, nothing seems to have changed! However, after a while, I didn't look, looked at the monitor again, and found that it turned green! Yes, it's definitely green! Pay attention to the monitor in the photo. There is no water in the blue pipe, but there is water in the green pipe! Verify that the carbon dioxide gas in the fish tank has entered the monitor! The problem is, according to the factory dose, it is not necessarily correct! And it depends on whether you use it every day or every other day or two! I use 40-60 liters of water to calculate, a bottle has 20 carbon dioxide ingots, how many bottles should I buy in that month! If you don't use it every day, pay attention! I didn't notice when the monitor fluid turned blue. Therefore, we have to measure the dose and whether to use it every day! With the extension of light irradiation time, whether to invest a certain dose and wait for a period of time before starting light irradiation time! This should be observed by oneself, how to control it! I can say for sure that this carbon dioxide ingot is effective!

Replacement tabs. They do help my plants, but I found the co2 levels to be more inconsistent which causes more algae growth. The inconsistency is worse if you drop tabs in themselves rather than using the sera system as directed.

It didn't seem to work like I thought it would

I bought these after an absolutely total junk C02 tablet that did nothing. Now then. This is a 30 gallon heavily planted tank it took 3 tabs to get the drop checker to turn green. However one tab did in fact turn it a little green i thought I was crazy or it was the light. However after adding 2 more into just the hang on filter in 2 hours and 40 mins I looked again and it was clearly green. If you do not have a drop checker for your tank do not use any form of C02 as it can kill your fish and plants. So is 3 ever day or every other day for me worth not having to mess with C02 DIY or the problem of exploding tanks for me yes. This is cheap even with 3 a day id happily pay them a month if I needed to. Im honestly amazed at how well this works.

Never do any CO2 injection without monitoring. It is also important that you understand the mechanism and speed of the CO2 indicator in the glass. The indicator reacts slowly (~2hours). Read the manual. I put two tablets into a 40gallon tank with many plants and in 1.5houts it turned green. Everybody is happy. Good stuff.

Its nice to buy something that is not from China. I'm happy to spend a little more for higher quality

Keeping my plants supplied very well. Works for my tank load (40g). Recommend!

maybe only work for nano tanks. I try it on a bigger tank didn't do a thing. went with CO2 Injection instead

They released lots of Co2 but released it extremely quick so not really good for my requirements of adding Co2 to a grow room for hot chillys and various herbs it just got pulled out with the air exchanger in a matter of minutes where I needed it to be a more steady stream of bubbles, not its intended use I no but hoped it would be a cheap alternative to an expensive Co2 generator.

Me gusta: La facilidad de uso y eficacia. Se lo meto en el bote de JBL con un poco de agua y veo como van saliendo despacio las burbujas de co2, en caso de tener alguna urgencia. Por olvido de echarlo, etc. No me gusta: De momento ninguna queja. Lo tengo para urgencias para cuando se me olvida rellenar el CO2, le meto la pastilla en el bote de JBL y es una maravilla. No me ha defraudado nunca. Lo seguiré comprando

Utilisation pour un aquarium de 200l !!! Et fonctionne parfaitement le CO2 de mon bac monte bien (test JBL goute) et mes plantes se porte bien. Le kit start de sera est vraiment bien conçu cela évite les bouteilles de CO2 avec leurs systèmes hors de prix.
