The Data Vault Guru: a pragmatic guide on building a data vault Paperback – 6 Oct. 2020

This one was written by somebody who does this stuff. It’s not just a theory book but filled with so many examples of “you could do it this way, because it makes sense, but you really should think about all this other stuff…” I still have to do a lot of mental gymnastics to get this data vault stuff working but this is the book I keep going back to. All others are taking up space now.

Ce n'est un pas un livre "théorique", c'est expliqué pour avoir une bonne compréhension pratique (même si les concepts théoriques si retrouvent également). Pour avoir moi-même déjà travaillé deux fois à la mise en place d'un Data Vault, on sent que l'auteur a vraiment travaillé à une mise en place en production. Je n'ai pas encore terminé le livre, mais je le conseille vivement, que cela soit pour apprendre les concepts ou juste pour se tenir au courant, avoir un autre avis, etc.

This has so far been the best data vault book I've encountered.The book clearly needs an editor. The book is full of incorrect grammar and unclear sentences. The author tends to ramble on and at times it's unclear what he's trying to communicate.Still the best out there.

Great introduction to the concept of Data Vault. I feel training is essential if you want to dive into the world of data vault but this is a good start.
