10/10
This worked perfectly for any use that I’ve come up with and has options for additional scenarios as well. Great all around device for a mini audio interface on the go. Dig the tiny generator look as well. Has been around the world in my backpack and is still in great shape. Don’t see this getting damaged easily if at all. Clean sound, no hissing or buzz. Excellent purchase.

Pretty Great
I used this with AUM + iOS + electric guitar and it worked great. I also have a first generation scarlett interface (my main interface that I bought long ago) and didn't notice a super crazy noise floor or anything on the AMS-22. The main thing I noticed was just how cute and tiny this thing is, which technically makes absolutely no difference to the sound but I'd be lying if I said I didn't appreciate it. It's just really cool how tiny it is. I also like the little bars that go underneath it and hold it up, you can do creative things with those like put a string through them and attach them to stuff, or if you're affixing the interface to something for a build you can run wires underneath it. It's a really janky setup but what I specifically did with this is I took my old iPhone, a USB camera adapter, a USB hub, and this thing, and hot glued them all to a small board to make a little self-contained guitar processor. It worked great but I ended up going with a dedicated guitar processor product (mod dwarf) instead of the iOS route. Still, I was very impressed by this little interface so thought I'd write a review.

The Perfect Solution for iOS recording
I've been researching audio interfaces for several months to connect with Logic Pro for iPad. There are a lot of choices on the market but I kept coming back to look at the ZOOM AMS-22. As a solo artist, I was looking for simple. As a musician on the move, I was looking for something portable. The AMS-22 fits both those requirements and more. I route my guitar effects systems into the Hi-Z input using the TRS (tip-ring-sleeve) input for stereo sound. The built in headphone jack allows real time audio playback thereby solving the issue of bluetooth delay for newer Apple devices with no headphone output. The AMS-22 is powered either by the iPad or an external supply via USB-C connection. The iPad recognized the AMS-22 immediately and I was recording in a matter of minutes - no software or drives needed. Very low noise and super simple channel input gain and master volume knobs for quick adjustment. Highly recommend.

Works great with bandlab on android, doesn't need drivers
Very basic, clear, does not distort like some other reviews say. Does have high latency but is easily corrected in daws. Used on a moto 5 g 2024 with bandlab, can easily record 8 tracks all with processing before slow down.

Great, portable solution for electric guitar!
I have played through iOS devices and MacBooks for some time now. Anyone who's done this knows, it's a bit of a hodgepodge when you set things up... cabling things together, setting pieces on stage (or even on your desk) while attempting to be semi-organized. If all you are doing is playing electric guitar with amp simulators through a laptop or phone / tablet, this thing is hands down the best option there is! Inexpensive, bus powered, and gives you nothing more than just what you need - an input and a stereo output. It's quiet, has plenty of gain for guitar, and is super portable. Can't recommend this interface highly enough!

So happy I that bought another one
Good good good. I bought another one so that I can always record an XLR mic (condenser or dynamic) into my laptop. These work flawlessly when I only need one mic, and are smaller than the two-mic AMS-24.

Great for churches
Exactly what we needed for our church service recording. Removes all the hum and buzz from the system and balances out the levels. Good buy!
