Pretty durable, and not huge! It will fit perfectly in my carry on when I go to Vegas in April so I can record and take pictures of the entire trip!

This fits the camera fine if you have it all put together but if you want the camera and the lens apart then it will not fit both pieces. The accessory zipper compartment is nice and fits accessories, like small batteries with charger and cable. It is very compact and easy to put in purse or hang in bag. Would recommend. The reason I gave it 4 stars is because I usually have the camera and I take the lens just if I need it, so I have to put it together for it to fit.
