O‘pen Mini ODG

The pen woks great and the mechanism to push the pen out is great for "fidgeting". the pen is small and a bit tricky because I have large hands. I can still write well with it and it functions perfectly. It is light weight and has a really cool look. I carry it in my EDC pack and I trade off between it and a full size pen that goes in my pocket.

This is a great pen, but it is just as fun as a fidget toy! I frequently spin it in my fingers or play with the super satisfying clicky bolt action. As a pen it writes really well, but is a little small in my hand. Great for jotting quick notes, but I probably wouldn’t use it for taking notes in a meeting or writing down my deep thoughts. Easily fits in my pocket, making it the pen I am most likely to carry with me on a day to day basis. Super great value, and I am considering buying more in other colors.

I like this pen. It looks nifty, and it fits in my bag with ease. The bolt action is really cool-looking and fun to fiddle with. It also takes standard pen refills, which is swell. But there are downsides. It hurts to write with for a long time. The die-cut design hurts my hand. It's too small to write with for journaling. It's better for every day carry and to do lists. If you want a cool-looking, unique pen, get it. It's not that expensive. But if you want a pen for writing longhand, I'd say there are better options (Parker Jotter).

I like it. It is small. It takes some practice and getting used to. I wish they had a better button placement. Better ink cartridges would be nice too. It does kind of smear some. But they are small. You can keep them as back up. Throw one in your glove box, throw one in your backpack, throw one in your pocket. And when you lose your big pen and go to your back up, you won’t complain about how small it is trust me. I would and I plan on purchasing more.

Great pen for each, clips on to my wallet and just lines up with the cards can even feel it there. Little small but I have big hands, still able to write quick notes, and always good to have a pen handy.

I recently got an Ezra Arthur leather pocket caddy, and wanted a pen small enough to fit in one of the compartments that also had a clip. This was one of the few that actually fit my needs and came at a decent price. Fits perfectly in the pocket caddy, along with a small flashlight and pocketknife. One thing to note is that I keep it next to the flashlight, so it has caused a lot of the finish to wear off of the pen after removing it several times. This isn't a problem to me as since I'm more concerned about function. Pen works great and I really like the color. Hopefully when the time comes it won't be hard to find ink refills.

Great for a guy to throw in his front pocket for the "just in case" times you need a pen. Bolt action removes the worry about coming uncapped or losing the cap. One handed operation, writes well. Win-Win. Would purchase again for sure. I have purchased a bunch of similar products over the years but this one is a fraction of the cost of most I have used and I like it as well or better than the others.

It was/is a great pen, I used it daily for small writing tasks because I kept it in my chums wallet so I always had it with me. I wouldn’t suggest this pen for someone who needs to write paragraphs at a time though because it can dig into your fingers. I don’t think that was its intended use anyway. I gave the 3 stars because the ink cartridge busted after a few months and I went to order a refill but as far as I know they don’t have a standard refill and they aren’t available on Amazon, just on olight’s website and they charge shipping so it would be close to 20 dollars for a refill that I didn’t expect I’d need so soon for a pen that didn’t even cost that much. I will say that you probably wouldn’t need a refill for several years as long as it doesn’t bust. I would recommend as long as you know what you’re in for. Edit: They now offer it in a bundle with a few refills.
