Bright light, easy to use
It's wonderful. Just light natural light and you can adjust the brightness. I can do needlepoint without my glasses!

Perfect for my needs.
Why did you pick this product vs others?: I have other Ott lamps. This is a replacement for an old one for which the bulb is no longer available. This one is EXCELLENT. The adjustable power levels are a bonus and it is so much brighter than the old one. The neck is much easier to adjust and stays put.

This lamp is exceptionally great quality. It works as described. Stability and brightness is great!

Great light, shorter than expected
Excellent quality, though it is shorter than I expected. The picture next to the chair seems deceiving as to the size. I should have measured it out to double check. Otherwise the light itself is excellent and the build quality seems great. Another negative, as a pet owner, is that as soon as it was out of the box it started collecting dust and hair. So it might be hard to keep clean.. though luckily no critters are exactly going to be jumping all over it.

Ottlite improved!
Ott is a reliable name for good lighting. This model is a wonderful update from previous models that rocked off the base. Especially like the tap to turn on feature and 3 levels of brightness. Easy to move around and terrific for reading and stitching.

Good, heavy quality lamp
Bought this for my wife and it really fills the bill. She can sit and sew with good lighting without lighting up the entire room. Heavy base keeps it in place.
