Handy to have around
I really like these guys. Small, charge batteries well. Power for projects seems to be spot on. Just a convenient little device to have around. Price is sure easy to handle as well.

Use a type a to type c charger
It works however you NEED a USB a to type c charger. Type c to type c WILL NOT WORK as these are originally supposed to be using micro USB.

Good little boards, very pleased. Recommend
Purchased these to build a 'charging station' to help charge 300-ish 18650 batteries, and to convert my Xbox 360 controllers to Li-Ion. They work pretty well, but i have noticed the "full charge" voltage has dropped after 30-ish cycles on the ones i used in my charging station from a steady 4.18v to 4.02-4.06v. Personally not a big deal, but something to cinsider. Overcharge protection works perfectly fine on all of them thus far as well. Charge current also isn't 1A on any of them, ranging from 650-800mA, but again - personally not a big deal. Overall very pleased with the purchase, and may be purchasing more here in the near future

Use a heat sink!
I had one board burn up on the first try. I ended up buying some thermal pads and repurposing a heat sink I had laying around. Now I can charge my flashlight batteries at work. Using a heat sink keeps the temperature down which I'm positive will extend the life of these little circuits. For my second project, I changed the resistor (R3) to lower the charging amps. I added just the thermal pad to this one and it doesn't warm up that much.

10/10 recommend
These boards appear to be well made. They're easy to read and soldering to them is a breeze. They've made my new project much easy to make. Solid purchase.
