We live in the Nilgiris, South India which borders the largest tiger reserve in the country. Bought this when my mate’s dog was taken by a leopard which easily broke the metal collar that was on the dog. This collar with spikes is so sharp that it can easily cause lacerations if the dog runs past you. Cannot be used all the time but definitely gives a much needed protection from the other predators. There are other cheaper ones available but go for this if you don’t wanna regret after losing your four legged companion.

Though the collar looked perfect initially, all spikes came out and loosened within a month. Very disappointed. Hope supplier sees this and supply better collar in exchange.

I mostly bought this due to aggressive off leash dog encounters increasing over the years, and every added little bit of protection makes me feel better. That being said, the metal spikes on this collar are very sharp - be careful! The collar seems well made enough, is a bit on the heavier side, and most of all looks great on my puppy!

I bought this collar for my off leash dog. We live in the woods, and there’s often coywolves out in broad daylight. He sticks close to me, but I feel much better about having him off leash with this collar on. It is SHARP and sturdy. If a coywolf got a hold of his neck I think it would deter any type of contact. He ran into me with it outside and it scratched me through my jeans. A great buy and better than a name brand coyote collar!
