This is a good basic lemon storage container. It is easy to store, use and clean. I am satisfied with the overall quality of the product and value.

This storage container works well for its intended purpose. I have a few & use them to store other produce, as well, such as halved red sweet peppers & 2 to 3 peeled boiled eggs . I started with a variant that had an opaque lid, but prefer these with clear lids, because of easy contents identification.

The $6 cost of the Lemon Saver more than pays for itself. I use lemons often but rarely need a full one and storing them in plastic wrap or bags was only marginally effective for short term storage. I was tired of wasting money by frequently tossing them out and about a year ago, purchased the Lemon Saver. I've been shocked at how well it works! A few weeks ago, I put half a lemon in the saver, forgot about it and went on vacation. Yesterday, I pulled it out of the fridge with the intention of throwing it out, because surely the lemon would be gross by now, right? Wrong! Since the cut side looked a little dry, I sliced off a narrow layer and discovered the rest of the lemon was perfectly fine, fresh and juicy! I proceeded to use it in a yummy salad dressing. Rarely does an inexpensive product live up to its claims but the Lemon Saver truly does.

Excellent storage for onions. No smell seeps out. Keeps cut onion fresh for longer than a plastic bag. Easy to open. Wish it was dishwasher safe, but can overlook that.

Not so happy with it. First avocados that are cut in half vertically can't fit, it must be cut in half horizontally... seems wrong because It exposes more of the avocado to get rot. Second, the avocado had brown spots on after one day. A LOT of them. I googled it and it said it was safe to eat since it wasn't black and only one day, but not what I was looking for. Third the container is VERY difficult to open. There is no lever or slot to grab onto to open it. Having a tight close makes sense to preserve, but there has to be an easier way to open it. I had to use a sharp knife to dig in the side, which is not safe. This wasn't expensive, so returning it is more hassle than is worth. But it's a waste. I don't recommend.

So I bought this and while I do use it, I have regrets about the money spent on it because since buying it I'm finding it all over the place used, apparently people aren't keeping them. They do take up quite a bit of room for the size of a lemon, it would hold a large lemon maybe a couple lemons but don't know why you'd put two in it. I do like that you can see the lemon in this pod. It's easy to open I do like it. I probably will keep it.

This definitely keeps your a avocado from going black for about 12 hours

This works well, it is easy to clean and keeps avocados nice and fresh. It is made of solid plastic and find that it closes with a good seal to keep things fresh inside. I work recommend this.
