this was a bit pricier than I wanted but I like that it takes AAA batteries, so they're easy to find, easy to replace. I use this for exercising my dog after dark and it has good range, reaching out 30 yards or so. Holding up well for how often we use it which is daily.

This pointer really works great on presentations. I highly recommend it.

Ordered 2 of these because they were listed as Class I Power output：<0.39mW Range lasers. Label on received items listed them as Class II. This can be bad or good depending on what you do with them. Don’t give these to your kids to play with. Class 1 For visible light, emits beam less than 0.39 mW. Safe, even for long- term intentional viewing. Class 2 Emits visible beam of less than 1 mW. Safe for unintentional exposure less than 1/4 second (because of blink response). Do not stare into beam.

I used it maybe ten times, put it in a desk drawer and forgot about it, ten months later I found it in my desk, and it doesn't work, changed the batteries, still doesn't work. The thing was less than ten bucks, so you get what you pay for.

My cat loves this and even my dog got in on the action. Great to help them exercise while inside. Just keep fragile stuff off the tables near where you are playing!

There isn’t an on/off switch. Just a button you have to hold down for the laser beam to light. I prefer one with the on/off switch.
