We had an indoor vent for the washing machine drain that would cause horrible odours when the water drained into the laundry sink. Saw this used on This Old House in a similar situation and decided to give it a try. Works perfectly, odours gone immediately. A bit more expensive than others but well worth it.

Very easy to install, seems to be a better quality product than my previous no-name AAV which failed after 6 months. Hope this one lasts longer. Make sure to use plumber's tape when installing.
