Carlinkit Wired carplay/android auto adapter

Rock solid and cheap. I used it with lineage os on a pi4 to make a portable Android Auto screen. Really pleased with this. Okay, so it's not wireless, but this is still fantastic value for money.

Purchased 2 different versions of Carlinkit and neither actually worked the way it was supposed too. Sent them back for refundsWouldn't recommend.Even in their description it now tells you when you upgrade it won't work properly but just upload the log file and they will try fix it in the next upgrade.Not a confidence booster.

As long as your radio is Android based this will work, downloaded the app, plugged in my phone and it worked without hiccup. Even tried the Mrs iPhone and worked perfectly fine. There are cheaper ones around that look the same but who knows weather or not they'll work just as good

Great features and functionality but doesn't scale well with portrait screens such as tesla style screens.

Getting this setup on my Erisin Android head unit was a breeze, and went just as the clear instructions stated. When running Android Auto, everything is quick and responsive. No issues with functionality at all.The only issue I've found is that this dongle can only supply 800mA charge to your phone, which isn't alot. So much so that when running Waze, it couldn't charge my Oppo Find X2 fast enough and the battery would still drain. To fix that, I hard wired a second USB port behind the stereo and then used a USB splitter so I could take a 2.4A charge from there whilst still connected to the Android Auto dongle. All works great now!

Hi everyone, I have an android radio, I used CarlinKit 2.0 but after the last update the radio stopped detecting the box, I am looking for some solution, factory reset does not work.

Great Price ! Easy to instal ! However it keeps discounting I have to unplug and replug into for it to reconnect which is annoying when on motorway

Handy product easy set up. Made my life a lot easier when previously using the android screen.
