Padlock failed on second use (unable to unlock it).
I bought this padlock for my wheelie bin as someone kept filling my bin with their rubbish. Initially I was pleased as I figured that person would not go back into their house to fetch a pair of pliers! I thought I might have solved the problem. Unfortunately on the second time I attempted to unlock it, which was two weeks later, it wouldn't unlock. I can see grey/white close to where the cable goes into the padlock. I assume the metal has corroded inside. I read the reviews before I ordered. I'd hoped because of how it was positioned it may have been protected from the worst of the weather. It may be ok for use indoors, but I certainly wouldn't recommend it for outdoor use.

Bought two packs of these - 4 locks in total. 1 lock broke straight away with the mechanism not working. Reported this and sent it back. No issues at all with this return. Refund applied to the account super quick.

The measurements given in cm of this lock are the total length of the cable… but the diagram on the advert look like the measurements of the height of the cable from the top to the bottom .. it confused me and I received a much smaller lock than I expected.
