Harness for 2012 Chevy Malibu
Works perfectly for the 2012 Chevy Malibu for an aftermarket stereo but the steering wheel controls doesn’t work. I’ve also heard if you want to use onstar, that won’t work either. Overall, if you want to install an aftermarket stereo for CarPlay or android on a 2008-2012 Chevy Malibu, I highly recommend this harness. There’s also a YouTube video that shows how to remove the dash trim to install the harness and aftermarket stereo.

Easy to use quick install into vehicle

Product image does not match the product. Mine shipped ...
Product image does not match the product. Mine shipped with two 6-pin connectors for the vehicle side, while the picture shows a large 24-pin connector (which is what I needed for my car). I based my order on Metra's fitment guide, which listed this product, and the picture of this product showing the proper connector. Metra/Axxess makes a version of this called GMLAN112 that ships with BOTH types of harness, and the 24-pin harnes ( LD-AX-XSVI-GM4) can be ordered separately if needed. Alas, this has messed up my weekend install plans, as it'll be next year before I can get the right harness. I will be contacting Amazon to arrange a return on this product.
