Q: Can I plant this in a container?

Yes it would be perfect! If you live in Zone 5 or lower you need to protect it in winter.

Q: What size is the plant when it ships?

Plants were about 12 to 18 inches high (including pot). However the shipping containers were about 24 inches high with extra cardboard inside to keep the plants from moving around. I received six and they were all in perfect condition and bloomed within a week or so after planting. Hope this helps.

Q: How many of these plants do I need for a 3' x 7' area?

I’m not sure, maybe 5 .. ? They aren’t big, and they don’t get massive. I have 2 and they haven’t spread out a lot, nor do they get tall. Of course you need a foot or two between each one- root systems and all.if I was there, I could give you my best guess. 😎 I hope that helped.
