Great for my purpose, may not be for everyone.
Great for my purpose, may not be for everyone. I have a sim rig and only needed something to set next to me for my keyboard and mouse. It took a moment to get the adjustment right as it has numerous possibilities for a well placed configuration. On a lower setting/adjustment it seems quite stable but when I set it up for a higher position it felt a bit wobbly. However, at the current medium adjustment it is both stable and suits my situation well. The mouse portion is just clipped on loosely and is rather small. So, if you are using it a lot or moving quickly you may run off the edge or drop the mouse off altogether. Again, this review is for how the stand works for my setup and it is great but this may not be a great fit for all. It has three adjustable legs on each side that are push button activated and locked out when set to desired position. No tools needed and the adjustment positions are indicated with numbered incremental positions so you can easily tell you have both sides set equally. One other feature I found by accident, you can set this stand up on uneven surfaces (in either direction) and still have a flat workstation for your keyboard or laptop. Hopefully this helps you with your decision to purchase or not to purchase. This review has been left without compensation, I actually like it for MY purpose and use.

NOT E-Z to adjust!
Oh, you can adjust it to your preferred height, all right - after pressing the button on each individual joint and clicking through the preset stopping points. What is that, like 8 separate joints to adjust one at a time? You can't press the buttons on both sides at the same time, it's too difficult. You need one hand to press the button and one hand to move the joint So each individual joint, one at a time, while your keyboard starts to slide off. It's not practical at all to go from standing to sitting to standing again, unless you set it where you want it for standing, then remove your keyboard and mouse and set it aside for sitting. It's just slightly ridiculous for the price, and totally not worth it IMO. My office actually bought me a rising monitor and keyboard stand that allows me to adjust it to any height I want with the press of a lever, and it blows this one out of the water. If you want to go from standing to sitting to standing throughout your day, don't waste you money on this one - spend the extra money for a REAL adjustable stand instead. You will be glad you did!

Good product
This product perhaps is not a great fit for everyone. It’s not something strong for you to lean on it with half your body weight but solid enough. It’s also kind of awkward trying to adjust the height if not familiar enough. But if you need a smaller, light and solid enough holder to fill in your existing configuration this is probably the choice. Anyway after some practices and trials, I found it perfectly fit my needs. It would be perfect if easier to adjust the height.

Very flexible
This was perfect I have a desk with a drawer in it I can slip the legs into the decks desk an extend it out to my nice comfy chair and sit and look up my four monitors The mousepad is a little flimsy but it works if I keep my arm on the side of the chair but I would buy this again hopefully it doesn't come to that it seems like it's well built The joints are all tight there's so many ways you can angle this it's pretty incredible I wished I'd have tried this first instead of the ones that connect to the bottom of my chair which my chair was too big for the one that connects to the pole to my monitor which was too short this is perfect thank you

So close, yet so far...
I'm not sure what's more frustrating: a product that is truly bad, or a product that has the potential to be great but instead took some poor design/business decisions that make it merely "meh". The Uncaged Ergonomics WorkEZ Keyboard Tray falls into the latter category. THE GOOD: - One of the very few products that limits its scope to just keyboard & mouse. Most other products include a feature for a monitor or laptop. This has found its niche as a product for those of us who have an existing desk setup with monitors that are adjustable, and we merely want something that allows us to place our keyboard/mouse on a riser so that we can stand. - since it is limited in scope and features, it is therefore reasonable priced. I didn't need nor want to spend over a hundred dollars (or more) on a Varidesk (or one of its clones) - Somewhat decent number of options for adjusting height and keyboard tray incline - Lastly, I think they had a good idea with the separate mouse platform that you can attach to either left or right side, and you can adjust the angle so that it is flat if you decide you place your keyboard on an incline. THE BAD (aka why in the world would you not test this out and/or make these decisions?): - Since the item is very lightweight, there is nothing designed to compensate for the fact that it will move around your desk as if it's on ice skates. This could have so easily been rectified by choosing soft/rubberized plastics where the legs meet the desk. At the very least they should include rubber/vinyl bumpers that you can stick on. That's what I wound up doing and it made the product 100x better. - They advertise the ergonomic option of configuring the keyboard tray so that it can be positioned on an angle. i.e., tilting down and away from you. What they don't show/tell you is that your keyboard will also act as if it is on ice skates, and slide around while you type. Yes the keyboard tray is made of lightweight aluminum and has a textured surface, but it's still slippery as hell. Again I'm not sure why they didn't opt for treating the surface with some type of powdered/rubberized coating, or again include more rubber/vinyl bumpers that you need to apply to the bottom of your keyboard. That's what I did, and again it made the product so much better. - I have several issues with the separate mouse platform attachment. First of all, it's too small. Because the surface of the platform is rather rough you need to use a mouse pad. However it is difficult to find a square mouse pad that is 7in by 7in. Most mouse pads are rectangular, and I'm not exactly sure why they didn't just make the mouse platform the same depth as the keyboard tray. Secondly, I find that the mouse platform is rather wobbly, even when securely attached correctly. I think the product would feel so much more polished and professional if the attachment mechanism was re-designed or if the metal used was thicker so that it didn't bend so easily. In summary, at first I was very disappointed in the product, but after the significant upgrade of applying about a dozen vinyl bumpers ($3 at Home Depot) and cutting a mouse pad down to size, I am now really happy with the purchase. I've been standing at my desk for 2 days straight and there's no looking back! If you're willing to apply some vinyl bumpers and trim down a mouse pad, I think you will come to like this product. Hopefully Uncaged Ergonomics will take my suggestions into consideration when refreshing this product for the next version. Again I really think it has a unique niche and provides a lot of value if only they would tweak a few things here and there.

The device is solidly built. Sturdy adjustment push buttoms per side and easily adjustable to suit whatever position you wish to use it in. Fits onto the desk easily and is light enough yet strong enough to support the full size keyboard and the Mouse pad with me leaning it on it. Only downside is I found the surface of the mouse area a little to non tactile so mounted a cut down mouse pad on it, problem solved. It will work fine without having to add a pad, but I just prefer the feel of it with it. Ideal system if like me you cannot change out your whole desk but want the option to be able to stand as and when required or needed. Being diabetic this gives me all options. SO I can stand to get the circulation going and sit whilst doing any heavy reading etc. All in all a nice compact but very sturdy device, and everyone else who has seen it has commented that it is a good looking piece of kit.

I should have bought this 10 years ago! All that time typing for 8 hours per day at my desk cutting of the circulation to my legs and weakening them from constant sitting! I have used this for 2 months and my legs are stronger and my body can get in a different position. Before when my wife wanted to go on a walk my leg and feet got easily tired while hers were strong (her job enables her to stand and sit) . I am actually now able to more than keep up with her and have noticed strength has returned to my legs and feet. I feel much stronger. All it took was not sitting on my duff for 8 hours but alternating sitting and standing using this stand up tray! I wish I had thought of buying this 10 years ago!

La base es ajustable a muchas alturas y los clips de un buen material. El único tema es que la sujeción de la base del mouse es muy muy débil. Lo demás es perfecto.
