Looks Good and Relieable
Let me tell you, it's been a game-changer. I bought this for me to learn how to do pull ups and improve my grip strength but my brother were interested in it as well. My brothers are on the bigger side --between 250 to 325 pounds, and they've been able to do pull-ups and hang on it until they're arms give out, basically anything you can do with a bolted/ pull up bar, without any issues. It looks really slick. Fits right under the door frame, which is super convenient, but if you're tall like my brothers, be prepared to get cozy with the ceiling when you get up. It's a small trade-off considering how solidly built and affordable this thing is. The quality is outstanding. Its sturdy as heck, even when my brothers are really going at it to test it before hanging on it (who wouldn't) it didn't budge at all. Installation was a breeze after I picked the instructions out of the trash like I always do. No tools or expertise to get it up securely. Honestly, for the price, this pull-up bar feels like a steal. Perfect for anyone who needs something reliable for home workouts, especially if you've got bigger folks in the mix.

Every home should have one
Amazing! I cannot believe how good this product is. It look a few minutes to understand how to set it up, and I was hesitant when doing the first few pull ups because I thought I might fall if I hadn't installed it properly. But everything worked well. You can tell from the build quality and the weight that it is sturdy. The foam grips make it comfortable and it just work exactly as described. I love it. Incredible value for money.

Doesn’t Require Screws - Works GREAT
I was looking for a pull up bar for my son’s room so he could work out in between sports and training classes. Other free-standing bars all seem so big and bulky, take up too much floor space, and are pricey. And most other door-mounted pull up bars have to be screwed in. I wanted something that would be easy to install and that would not leave any damage. This bar has been so great. My son hangs on it every time he goes in and out of his room and does pull ups here and there throughout the day. The door still opens and closes normally and no floor space is taken up. He and my other children (age 8 through almost 13) use it and it’s held up well. It doesn’t slip at all even though it’s not screwed into the door frame, and it looks nice and low profile so works even with 8-ft ceilings. Such a great value for the price and we’ve gotten even more use out of it than expected.

Good bar tricky installation
Basically a good sturdy bar but there's one strong advantage to its design and a couple of shortcomings. First, the big advantage -- you can install it in a doorway and still close the door when desired. 1) You may have to duck a little when entering the room, but you'll figure that out after a few tries. 2) The directional labels on the bar on which way to turn it to tighten it in the doorway are backwards to how it works; that's pretty obvious when you install it. The friction between the bar pads and the doorway requires excessive pressure on the door frame to prevent slipping. Making it tight enough to be safe may crack the door frame especially for adult users. It really needs shims installed between the frame and the doorway's rough opening or small blocks firmly attached to the frame below the pads on the bar. Net: Good bar once you get past the installation hassles.

Best of the type without screws
If you read the reviews for this type bar they all contain some horror stories about coming away with injury. I was using an (AhfuLife Pull Up Bar, No Screws Chin Up Bar) without incident but when my daughter wanted one I did some research to find the safest possible. The Sportneer with the longer contact pads and cantilever action that locks in on a pull down gave me more confidence - so I bought one for both myself and my daughter. You still have to be careful but this one has the best chance not to let go. Follow instructions and check the tension occasionally to ensure it is secure. It is somewhat dependent upon your door frame structure. If you have any doubt purchase the type that screws in the support brackets so you don't end up writing a review that scares everyone off this well constructed product.

works well, takes up little to no space.
Bought this because traditional doorframe pull up bars were bulky and prevented me from closing the door. Easy to install and the bar has intuitive guides right on it so you know exactly where to position everything. It's sturdy and holds my 135lb body with no issues during my workouts. Grip is wide but solid. One thing to note that I should have done earlier: make sure you know what doorframes are compatible and the width before ordering. Not every doorway will work, so measure first. Also doubles as a hanger if you need to hang something up temporarily

Be careful if you live in an old renovated apartment
Great product, but definitely pay attention to how your home is built. I live in an old but renovated apartment in NYC, and after inspecting for cracks and what not, I figured I was good to go seeing as my door frames seemed solid. The issue is, when I went to install the bar I continued tightening until it could go no further, and this was starting to damage my wooden doorframe. I could see it physically bending the wood, which is a shame because I was excited to use the product. But for anyone in an old building that was renovated, keep in mind that they may have put non-solid layers over solid foundations, making this product unusable. Everything about the product, great. My apartment, not so much.

Stable, Easy to Install, and Perfect for Wide Doorways
I first bought a different pull-up bar, but my doorway is wide and the door frame is thick, so I couldn’t mount it properly. This bar solved all of those issues immediately and works great. Installation was very easy, and the two leveling bubbles on each side make sure you get it right the first time. We use it every day. It’s stable, well-designed, and feels completely secure. I’m 185 lbs and never feel like I’m going to fall or that the bar is going to come loose. Excellent product—highly recommend.

I am 70kg. I have painted concrete walls and I thought the walls felt a bit slippery but this has not budged. The spirit level is next to useless so I used my own seperate levelling tool. Besides that, I am simply amazed at the wizardry of how this holds. I have completed many more pull ups now that it’s conveniently located in my home.

Installed the pull-up bar on an aluminium framed door and it holds really well. One minor negative is that due to its variable width, wide grip pull-up fall outside the main body and on thin extension tubes which make it less comfortable experience.

Works perfectly, my son is very happy with it.

Recomendo.
