Strong grip and easy to use
Wow. Just wow. I used this stuff to glue a handle back on to my fireplace door after replacing the glass panel that had shattered. The handle only has two small posts that connect it to the metal door frame, and I was uncertain whether there was enough surface area for the glue to hold. After applying the glue to the handle I let it set up for 24 hours, and MIRACLE - it is holding strong and tight! This stuff works. A great product that solved a difficult problem, I am very happy that I bought this.

Easy Fix for Cracked Chimineas (and More!)
I'm really impressed with the J-B Weld High Heat Epoxy Syringe. Fixing cracks can be a hassle, especially when you need something to hold up to high heat. This epoxy syringe made the whole process so much easier. The One-Step Syringe is a Game Changer - Forget messy mixing and imprecise measuring! The one-step syringe design is genius. Just dispense equal parts of the epoxy from the dual plungers and you're good to go. No mess, no fuss, and no chance of messing up the ratio. The epoxy sets up in about an hour at room temperature, and cures completely in 24 hours. That's plenty fast for most repairs. But the real winner here is the heat resistance. I used it to fix a crack in my chiminea, and it's held up perfectly through the first few fires. I'll definitely update this review after I've used the chiminea for a longer period, but so far, I'm very happy with the J-B Weld High Heat Epoxy Syringe. It's easy to use, bonds like crazy, and can take the heat. Highly recommend!

J-B Weld High Heat Epoxy Syringe – Solid Fix for Fireplace Patch
I used this J-B Weld High Heat Epoxy Syringe to patch a small hole in the brick surround of my wood fireplace, and it got the job done well enough. The syringe design is handy—two-part epoxy (resin and hardener) mixes right as you push it out, so no messy stirring. I had a pea-sized hole from a chipped brick, and the dark grey color blended decently with the soot-stained area, though it’s not an exact match to fresh brick. Application was simple: cleaned the spot, squeezed out a dab, smoothed it with a putty knife, and let it cure. It’s rated for 500°F continuous (600°F short-term), which fits my fireplace temps—usually around 400°F near the surround. After a week of daily fires, the patch is holding strong—no cracks or crumbling, and it feels rock-solid. The 0.7 oz size was plenty for my small fix, with some left over. It’s not perfect, though. The cure time took the full 24 hours to feel fully hard (set in about an hour), so patience is key. Also, it’s a bit thick to work with—great for filling, less so for super-fine cracks. Compared to a basic heat-resistant caulk I’ve tried, this epoxy feels tougher and more permanent, though it’s overkill for non-structural stuff. For high-heat repairs like fireplace patches, it’s a reliable pick. I’d give it 4 stars—works as promised, but the thickness and cure time temper the ‘wow’ factor. Good for small, durable fixes!

Epoxy really does work
I needed it to fix a cracked crock pot ceramic insert I bought off eBay but the seller packed it poorly. It fixed it rather well though I had some problems - not the fault of the product. It ended up fixing quite a few other problems I had around here afterwards. Epoxy is handy to have on hand!

Pleased to report that it really works.
I used it to glue a rubber bumper pad back onto the lid of a propane gas BBQ grill. This was the only product I found that might work. I had little hope that it would stay put considering how hot the lid and the entire grill gets. Surprised and pleased that it is still in place after many meals. This stuff really works.

Definitely not high heat.
I like JB weld products as they're usually strong and reliable, but they're high heat epoxy is supposed to be rated for $550°. I glued a the handle back on the crock pot after prepping and degreasing the surfaces and even etching the glass, and let it dry for about 2 weeks. The glue failed miserably after 8 hours with the temperature set on low. The epoxy bubbled and the bond released from both the glass and the handle.
