PROS: 1. The chess pieces are well packaged in a durable box for storage. 2. The set includes two cloth bags/pouches for storage. 3. The plastic seems to be of good strong quality- not cheap brittle plastic. 4. The size of the chess pieces are small enough for an analysis set- 3" king. 5. The price is fair for what you receive: plastic chess pieces, chess pouches and durable storage box. Neutral: 1. The light colored pieces have a faint vintage yellow tint. It's not a stark white color. The pieces are not high gloss in finish, but only slightly. 2. The entire set is medium weight for its size. I don't sense that the weight is light or "feather weight". 3. It's your preference, of course. Cons: 1. The "felt" bottoms are just adequate, but do exhibit minor issues: off centered on the base of the pieces, thin, exposes the edges of the bottom of the pieces. There is a risk of leaving scratches on the playing surface. Conclusion: 1. The price is good for the chess pieces provided you know its size is smaller than the usual 3.75" king sets. But, a 3" king set is refreshing for both two player games or analysis play. 2. I chose to buy from Zoocen because I felt a little more confident after reviewing the other cheaper priced offerings and shipping timeline. Perhaps these type of chess pieces are made from the same factories, but marketing makes a big impression for me.
