One of the best face washes I have ever used. Absolutely effective in preventing acne and clearing blackheads and whiteheads. Cleanses the skin without making it dry. Gentle and effective. Sharing this review after a year of use.

I have been using this for around 2 months, my 2nd bottle is about to finish around this time. I have oily skin (somewhat sensitive, how much..? not sure) and my experience has been great so far. I'm no expert in skincare products or treatment but this is my experience. My case - I'm struggling with acne for last 10 years, have been visiting doctors for 5, and dealing with moderate cystic acne and few occasional whiteheads & blackheads for around 3 years, which has only worsened with time. I don't expect any facewash to treat that but was looking for something which could at least soothe the skin & prevent whiteheads & blackheads. Since last year, I've been trying to fix my acne, learning from articles, YouTube, etc., because no medical treatment worked by then and I was getting frustrated as well. I decided to give this facewash a try mainly because of the composition, 1% AHA & BHA - something which I hadn't found anywhere by then, and this is my very first foam facewash as well as something from a semi-pro (?) treatment brand like mimimalist, deconstruct, derma co., etc. My experience - My skin is mild to moderate oily and the facewash dries out the skin a bit but it never feels rough (painful when stretched when skin is completely dry) and feels somewhat moisturized also. So, it's somewhere in between - fully dry and fully moisturized. During these past 2 months, most of the times I didn't have any new external pimples as such (perhaps the facewash was doing its job well :D). My skin once broke out unexpectedly too much in the first month (not because of the facewash) and it was the worst it's ever been but this facewash soothed the skin & the effect used to remain for next 3-4 hrs, which I hadn't experienced this strongly with other facewashes. I've been washing my face twice a day and I felt the difference every time because it used to hurt as heck rest of the time. So far, so good. My only complaint - The pump, it gave me a hard time too, with both bottles. With the 1st bottle, it stopped working around when it was half empty. I tried to fix it but was afraid of breaking it, so I forcefully moved the piston multiple times hoping that friction would ease it a bit and it did to some extent. 2nd bottle was extra smooth since the beginning but it got the same problem when ~20-25% was left in it and I'm doing the same thing again since then. My conclusion - I'd say definitely give it a try if someone has been struggling with acne for a while. Those who have dry skin, probably stay away from this as the product page also mentions normal-oily skin types. A bottle works for around 1 month for me (2 washes a day), it depends how many times you pump during each wash, I do it 2-3 times. Price wise, it looks alright with that 10% discount + 10% coupon which is usually available on Amazon. Last comments - I feel that any product can easily be a hit or miss because of many involved factors in acne treatment. So, giving it a try is the only option, plus (I believe that) topical treatments usually assist or help control damage but do not treat moderate to severe acne cases. That either a diet/supplement or a doctor can do. Also please do read product details on official product page for such products before buying. One thing I like about this product is it have no fragrance at all.. it did not work for me for the face part because I started breaking out a bit when I started but kept on for 2 weeks but still it didn't work for me so I went back to my previous face wash but it does work good for my back acnes and the reasults were noticeable (for the back)
