I've read this works well to clean stamps and blocks to get stamps to adhere to block. Does it really work? Do you use a cotton ball to clean with?

It does clean stamps and blocks well. I tried several times, but could not get stamps to adhere to the block using it. It is a good product, but not for this.

what is the alcohol %?

This is what the label reads: "Active ingredient: methyl salicylate 0.5% v/v Also contains: industrial methylated spirit 95% v/v, diethyl phthalate and virgin castor oil." There is a "Caution: this medicine is flammable, keep away from naked flames."

Is it same as surgical spiritm

Pretty much. From memory it smells exactly the same. Think my mom had it when i was small for disinfecting stuff. Did what I needed it to do

This company shipped as per expected, which is awesome! I have used it for a purpose other than what it is probably intended for, (Im a paper crafter, and recommended from a fellow friend in the same business, this product is amazing! I'm sure I will need it in the future for its original purpose, but for this rubber stamper/paper crafter it has solved my crafting issue! Top notch - this is a classic !

Old school classic here. For freshly pierced ears, this is one of the best things you can buy. Great for sterilizing earrings, and keeping things like tweezers and nail clippers super clean.

IT WORKS!

I am an avid stamper and card maker. This really does help my stamps to stick to my acrylic blocks. A little bit goes a long way.

I use it for stamping. It helps keep stamps attached to aryclic blocks, I know sounds weird but that's what we stampers use it for....
