I loved the book and I hope James and penny have a life together they was amazing together and I can't wait to read the rest of the books

I absolutely loved James in the Hunted series and always knew he was troubled by his past but wow this book opens him up in a whole new light. I didn't think I could love him anymore but damn ivy u done it again. I feel like I fell in love with James all over again. The fact I read the Hunted series before means when reading obsessed I was able to picture penny's thoughts also.My heart honestly broke for James and what he's been through in his past and how he was with penny. I loved being inside his head and heart.This book was also a lot more steamier than the rest of the Hunted series.The heart ache the love the ups and downs and the cliffhanger . Just wow I never so tht coming.I always love ivy's books as she is an amazing author and person but this 1 has jumped to the top.Thanks again for pulling me in and letting me be apart of it , it's almost like ur right there with them.Loved James point of view and can't wait for more

This is the first book I've read with main male character point of view as the telling of the story. And it took some getting used to. From the beginning I thought James was an old stoggy professor. The way he talked and his thoughts didn't line up for a 27 year old in my mind. The age difference was a non-issue. But James right?The story line was good, some scenes definitely better than others.

I’ve read the hunted series more than once, and was so excited to read it from James’ point of view. It did not disappoint! It was great to read how he felt and what he was like away from Penny. It was nice to see how he interacted with characters that appear in the later books of the hunted series. After reading penny’s point of view, it was great to know where head was in key moments. The scenes got hotter reading it from his side, and I fell in love with him all over again. Their love story is always going to be my favourite. The ending has me desperate to keep reading, so I hope Ivy doesn’t keep us waiting too long! I hope the whole series will be realised from his point of view. Another brilliant book from Ivy, a definite must read!

I couldn't read this, I kept expecting it to flip over to female POV, but it never did. I don't even like dual POV, in my opinion all good romance books are first person, heroine only POV.

I was hooked!! I couldn't put it down. I can't wait to start the next one. Such a great read.

Love this story & James and Penny😍

I actually saw this book being promoted on booktok, and because I am a sucker for a juicy, sexy, hot ( chapter 17 🔥) and amazingly written book I had to add to my reading list and goodness I didn’t just read it I devoured it! James oh god James, my heart just melts for him. He has a past and a cow of an ex so I’m desperate to know what the deal is there. It’s unusual that we get to read a book from the males perspective only so I’m pleasantly surprised. Now I need to download the next book and catch up with my book boyfriend, so if you’ll excuse me? Give this a go, you’ll be obsessed too I’m sure.
