I ended up buying three of these bags I loved it so much
Oh dear ... I ended up buying three of these bags I loved it so much! I purchased one of these to take as carry-on luggage on a recent trip, and since then I have purchased two further identical bags. The first thing to note is the impressive packaging, arriving in a sealed bag inside a custom card box. Straightaway this stands out as a quality product. The bag itself is very well made with good quality fabric and strong zips, and adjustable straps to add additional security. It has handles on the side and top, and straps to carry as a back-back. It also has a useful strap across the back to secure it to the handles of a roller-suitcase: no more bags dropping off the top of your case! The standout feature of this bag is the large opening front panel, providing excellent access to the main compartment. Despite its 'carry-on luggage' size I was able to pack a lot - combined with some TomToc travel pouches it proved to be a flexible functional travel bag. I purchased the additional bags to use as bags to store a lot of my 'tech gadgets' - cameras, drones, cables, tools and more. These bags are very versatile while maintaining a stylish appearance and excellent quality.

Light, spacious, comfortable, amazing!
This is a must go while traveling. It has plenty of space, is absurdly lightweight, very comfortable on your shoulders and, so far, was fit for every airline I traveled with, the crew don't even look at you twice (even the most picky airlines that measure and weight everything). It's very durable and top quality.

Good quality for the price
I am impressed by the quality of the materials used for the price. It feels strong and durable but still lightweight. I bought this primarily because it can also be used as a normal backpack by accessing the main compartment via the laptop compartment. A lot of other travel backpacks I looked at could only access the main compartment like a duffle bag. The main compartment capacity feels more like 35L but that is a perfect size for me as there is still enough room to fit all of my packing cubes. A lot of other backpacks overcomplicate things with lots of internal organisation but this just provides an empty space to fill with packing cubes. The main compartment and the laptop compartment are double zipped, however only the laptop compartment is lockable. The only downside is that the top pocket zip is a little too close to the laptop compartment zips and sometimes they get in each others way. Overall I am impressed with the quality and the price.

Nice look, impressive quality, ideal capacity - could have better organisation, details and warranty
My eyes were immediately drawn to this sleek-looking backpack while searching for a one-bag travel solution, ideal for combining work and short holidays of up to two weeks. Upon arrival, I was even more impressed by the build quality. The backpack felt sturdier inside and out than it appeared in photos, with YKK zippers that glide smoothly. WHAT I LIKED: * Spacious Main Compartment: I easily packed 2 pairs of trousers, 2 pairs of chino shorts, 2 shirts, 5 T-shirts, pajamas, underwear, socks, and still had room for slippers/sandals and a toiletry bag. * Laptop and Tablet Protection: The compartments are thinly padded with a silky smooth interior, a false bottom, and a Velcro strap to secure devices. * Comfortable Fit: The bag’s dimensions are perfect for someone with an average physique, unlike some bulky 40L bags that can be cumbersome. The wide, padded back straps distribute weight effectively, making the loaded bag feel lighter than expected. AREAS FOR IMPROVEMENT: * Organization: - The main compartment lacks pockets for small items or separating clean and used clothes. - The single mesh pocket in the laptop section is at the bottom, making it hard to reach chargers and cables. - Only two external pockets are available, leading to potential clutter, especially in the large front pocket where items tend to pile up. - A hidden pocket for valuables like passports and keys would be a valuable addition. * Design Details: - The central top handle placement makes it difficult to hang the bag on a door hook; a dedicated hanging loop would be helpful. - The back straps could be tidier when using the secondary handle. * Warranty: The 2-year warranty is underwhelming for a bag of this quality and price point. With other brands offering 10-year, 30-year, or even lifetime warranties, it would be reassuring to see a longer warranty that reflects the bag’s durability. In conclusion, while this backpack has its flaws, its strengths—especially in terms of build quality and comfort—make it a solid choice for one-bag travellers. I hope Tomtoc considers these suggestions to make a great bag even better.

Excellent Travel Backpack – Spacious, Well-Made & Super Handy
👍 Pros Good quality and excellent, smooth zippers (YKK zippers) Many organizational pockets to keep things tidy Great for travel and compact in size Smart design: you can access the back pocket from the main compartment .. loving this!! Handy pocket on top near the handle for quick access Dual exterior water bottle pockets Size is compact but practical (photo attached shows comparison with a 13″ MacBook Pro) 👎 Cons Honestly, I couldn’t find any real flaws If being pedantic, a side handle and a few more smaller pockets in the front could make it even better—but that’s more of a personal preference Overall: A fantastic backpack for travel and everyday use. Sturdy, comfortable, and thoughtfully designed. With great zippers, smart access points, and plenty of organizational options, this bag checks all the boxes for me.

The perfect travel bag?
I've been on the hunt for a travel bag for short (2-3 day) trips that would be easy to live with, and I think I found it It looks really nice - all black, small logo, nice and stealthy, but with some "design" elements such that it's not too boring It's very comfy to wear (I'm 6' 2") and feels well made (zips, straps etc all feel solid) I love being able to load it like a duffle, and it's handy to have the separate laptop section which is well padded Two, big water bottle pockets that are nice and secure makes life easy It's just perfect (IMO) - kind of what I'd design for myself if I could Improvements: being able to tuck away/secure the shoulder/rucksack straps would be handy for loading/unloading on a plane - but that's about all I can think of

Seems great value for money, longevity not tested though.
I have a Lowpro Fastpack camera bag which I think cost me over £100. That’s fine but I more recently started to put all my camera gear inside a Peak Design Sling 6L, then put that in the backpack to take on holiday. I also have a DJI drone in a DJi bag with controller and batteries, and a GoPro on a long case with accessories. I could no longer get these all in my Lowpro pack, never mind all the other things I take such as tablets, papers, passports, phones, leads, chargers, sunglasses etc. Just the drone, camera in PD sling and GoPro I could not get in because of course the main compartment is all padded in the Lowpro camera bag- something I don’t need because my items are protected in their own bags. I had been searching for an alternative and most are very expensive. I did consider a Peak Design as I like their quality. Anyway came across reviews for this, all being unanimous that it’s the best. ‘Budget’ travel backpack out there so gave it a go. It’s like a duffel backpack. The main bit fits what I wanted it to, and it’s perfectly sized. It also has a padded laptop section (I don’t take a laptop but will put all my papers in their A4 wallet in that), and a padded tablet section which I will use. Theres a handy pocket on top- I think I’ll use that for phone and passports and boarding passes when have checked in for easy access. Theres a pocket on the front (sunglasses and other items in there). Theres two water bottle holders, in one I’ll have my power bank and wires. I’d have likes one water bottle and own be a pocket instead but it’s fine. Quality seems on a par with the Lowpro costing twice the price. YKK zips etc. Size is almost identical to the Lowpro, save this is much squarer. And doesn’t have the internal padding in the main compartment so you can fit quite a bit more in. I like the fact you can access the main compartment through a zip like a duffel bag on the front, or when you unzip the laptop section like a clamshell, there’s a back entrance with red zips into the main compartment there as well, and on this zipped barrier there’s a stretchy pocket for leads and smaller items (I’ve put SD cards, filters and batteries in there). Overall seems excellent, time will tell if it can stand up to the rigours like a Peak Design or Lowpro can but I haven’t seen anything to make me doubt this. I’ll put up a review on YouTube ‘Wakeywarrior.’ to show a bit more detail.

Such a great bag! Comfy, practical and plenty of space
I have a small 20l Berghaus backpack which is my regular everyday / grocery bag and it's great for that, highly recommend if you want something small https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B00NMNCRYY I needed a more suitable overnight bag, with a chest/sternum strap, water bottle pouches, laptop compartment and more space. This is perfect. You can access the main compartment from above or below, and everything is easy to get to. The positive reviews are there for a reason. It's sturdy, comfortable (with ample padding on the back and the straps), has a padded top handle, good zips and it looks nice too (I like the grey version personally). I did try a cheaper 30L bag before this which was very light and cheap feeling and shipped in a bag - it folded down to nothing, like something you'd buy off Temu. This bag ships in a box because it's a better built more substantial product. Worth paying a little more for a bag you'll love that will last. Note - there is no waist strap, because this is not a hiking bag, it's smart and designed to wear for maybe an hour at a time as you walk to a hotel / train station / classroom / office, not between mountain tops.
