This light is awesome, probably a lot more than what I ever needed! I am a bit of a newbie to indoor gardening. I use this in a 2x4 foot tent, I am trying out my first indoor veggie garden with it & hoping to get very good at the skill over time so I can eat lots of top quality foods Initially I had set up the light in the tent with the little power pack it comes with on top of it, I copied pictures and videos I had seen. My tent was getting way too hot! So I had to put it external & I never had the problem again. The light gets very bright though, if I have it too bright then it gets too warm again. I just keep mine on 45% and my plants seem to be really happy. I'm growing spinach, kale, broccoli, cucumber, cherry tomato, thai basil and birdseye chilli in my tent. I'm having a lot of fun, I definitely didn't need a light this powerful though but at least I know if I get better at gardening in the future and do find a need for a brighter light or maybe I might upgrade to a taller tent, then I could obviously make use of it. ..and I do wish my tent was taller! Now that my cherry tomato has grown a lot more I'm wishing I had more height & same with thinking about when my cucumbers start climbing. I knew it'd be limited space, but now I see everything growing & the lucious green leaves of everything & I regret that I didn't get a much bigger tent My goal is to be able to grow all of my food one day This is definitely the start of me starting the journey toward meeting that goal I easily give this light a 5 star rating, but do note that I'm not in any way an expert.

I have had this light for about two weeks now. The light appears well made and comes with the normal hardware for hanging plus a timer and temp/humidity sensor. I would have preferred those to be an option since I have them already and suspect most growers do as well. For first time growers it's a nice package deal. I have six 3-4 week old plants under it at about 18" and four under a 1500 watt LED and there is a noticeable difference in growth on the plants under the Mars Hydro. I recently purchased a PAR meter and my measurements show an average 20-30% PPFD increase over what I was getting with two 1500 watt LEDs over the same plants at a reduction of close to 150 watts power consumptipon. And the overall coverage is better too. It also generates much less heat than the other LED lights and the silent operation is nice too although the noise was not really an issue for me, but not having fans that can break is a plus. I am considering purchasing another one, but might wait to see how this grow turns out. I am curious to see how well it does in the flowering phase. It is a very energy efficient light over traditional LEDs producing more light for less wattage, which I verified with a new watt meter I recently purchased. However, that is not the reason I purchased this light. That said, I have seen some reviews that suggest the standard two and three chip LEDs are still superior overall to Quantum Board LEDs and if energy saving is not a concern, they are still the way to go. The numbers don't show that to be the case based on my measurements and results so far, so I guess I will know if this is correct about three months from now. It came pretty well packaged in a sturdy box with some wood to provide added support. I did have an issue with one of the drivers not dimming properly and contacted support. They were very responsive and are shipping me a new driver, although I have to wait a month as they are currently out of stock, but they did give me a $10 discount for the inconvenience, which was cool. My initial impression is these lights are better in many ways to standard LEDs and are a very affordable alternative. I am guessing Quantum Board LEDs will likely replace standard LEDs over time. I will know more in a few months and may update this review. If all goes well I will be transitioning to all Quantum Board LEDs. Just not sure yet if they will all be Mars Hydro lights. For now, I can recommend the Mars Hydro TSL series lights without hesitation. Good choice for a first time grower too since you get a lot of bang for your buck. Update Jan 27th Just completed my grow with two of the Mars Hydro lights. Very impressive growth with the new lights. So much so it caught me off guard how much the plants stretched when the light cycle was moved to 12/12. I was not prepared and could have done a lot more bending. I ended up with some light burn trying to get the light at the optimum height. Also, I had two plants under one of these lights and it was just too much light for one plant making it difficult to take advantage of the light output. The next grow I will be using the light with one plant and do a better job mainlining to get more yield from the light. That said, the yield I did get was pretty amazing. Very dense and frosty buds for sure. So some lessons learned. My plan now is two purchase two more of the TSW2000 model which will work better in one area of my room over one plant. That will give me a total of four Mars Hydro lights eliminating all of the standard LEDs I have, yet consuming a lot less power. About 1200 watts versus in excess of 2000w with the Mars Hydro's and standard LEDs. I am pretty jacked about the next grow and can say for sure these lights are worth the money - they will pay for themselves over time compared to standard LEDs and that is fact based on real data. Highly recommended - you will not be disappointed with the purchase of these lights.

Despite what the specifications state on the website (220v) this is, in fact, compatible with 110 volt systems as is the norm in the US. Repeated attempts to reach Mars Hydro regarding this information by telephone and email before buying were not successful and only produced delayed, generic (AI generated?) responses. Unit arrived on time, well packed and I was able to verify it's electrical requirements. Equipment works as expected but it appears their customer support is a weak link in their business operation.

Wow, lights up my whole 8+4 tent, two or three would flower in that tent saving 600watts of power, so basically if I where to get one more of these , the savings would pay for the lights in o e year compared to 1200watts HPS, I'll see how they flower, ifthey flower as good as I have with HPS, it's a done deal, switching over completely to these lights, I will day , they do run hot, no fan, but I just put a fan in the lights direction and it cools, the issue is tent temps, I bet they run as hot as my HPS, so don't think your not going to compromise heat issues, but as for the light and how i works, it's awesome, just does run hot just so you know, I'll be buying it be, possible two more as as I can , end result at this time, I live the light, I will edit after flower to let you all know the fa cts. Edit: light is awesome plants live it, I wanted to buy four of these to replace my 2 600w HPS lights in a 4 by 8 tent but I don't think I can they run way too hot I will be purchasing one more so I will have one of these lights and 600w HPS and then another one of these lights in a 4 by 8 tent I believe that's all the heat I can take without cooling it will be great for winter time but I thought these were going to be a summertime like for me but not my 600 watt HPS are alot cooler either way they are great whites and I will be buying another one even though they run very hot I have some ideas to put a cool tube on top of them in cool I'm just like I do my 600 watt HPS lights with air movement I think it will work I still give these lights a five-star they are awesome I am purchasing one more actually I believe two of these alone would you a 4 by 8 tent quite confident two of them would fill the space so if you want to save money he can cut your wattage and half and easily grow as much as to 600 watt HPS lights but once again you will have heat issues
