Took me a long time to find the right one but this does fit my Makita Hammer Drill. Yes it us left hand thread. Not sure about durability, but it does fit so I would give it a try.

So far so good fit my Ridgid 18V drill perfectly :) Just need to remember where i put the second screw just in case!!

I completely screwed up the chuck on my 24 v Kobalt drill. The stock screw was so tight that I stripped it taking it off. I thought I was in trouble but took a chance on these and it works perfectly.

They did fit and worked as replacement screws but one broke within a week. I installed the other one and it held for a few months before breaking. My drill does get a lot of use though.

I did not see any specific details about the chuck other than it was for the m18 1/2 milwaukee drill so I went ahead and ordered it, Sad to say it did not fit, very disappointed, (too small)
