I have the Phillips hue app the provides back lighting to a samsung 55inch TV. Great app when paired with the Phillips hue TV ambiant light strip. One down side with the APP is that it is tied to a single TV and not transferrable, The Gradiant light tube sits below the TV and infills light below the TV whare the light strip provides none. As with all Hue lights great compatability between products in terms of colour matching. Simple to use with the Hue bridge and hue app. Happy with this product and would reccomend.

But Philips Hue are expensive for a reason....... 1. They are a high quality product. 2. They work flawlessly. 3. They have an amazing presence. 4. They are timeless.

Very bright light that works well. Way better than the little hue lights.

I'm not quite sure how these get so many good reviews. I ordered four (two large and two small) to provide ambient lighting behind my TV. It seems there is some kind of inherent fault with the connector box on these. Each tube has a control box that handles the wireless connection. A cable goes from the tube to the control box, then a second cable goes from the control box to the mains. It is this cable that created issues for me on ALL FOUR tubes. The round connector plugs into the control box but the connection is too delicate and flimsy. I only had to touch the connector on all four of the control boxes and the associated tube would begin to flicker and become 'undiscoverable.' If you pushed the connector in as hard as you could and held it there firmly, it was fine, but as soon as you let go of it, the connector would back out of the socket slightly and then the connection would be unreliable. I get that the odd one could be faulty but to buy four and they are ALL faulty is quite something. Maybe it was just a bad batch? It's a shame because the actual tubes appear to be very well constructed and synced almost perfectly with my TV.

Ho una TV Philips (55OLED855) che prevede l'estensione ambilight con altre luci hue. Ho quindi contattato il servizio clienti per sapere se la ligth tube fosse utilizzabile senza il sync box. Mi viene confermato che funziona, procedo quindi con l'acquisto. Una volta provato il prodotto però mi rendo subito conto che, si funziona, ma la luce non viene vista come gradiente di più colori, bensì come un'unica luce. Viene interpretata solo la parte bassa centrale dello schermo, come se fosse una normale lampadina (che non gestisce più colori aapunto). Con tutta sincerità sono molto deluso, parliamo di prodotti che hanno un certo costo (1800 euro la tv al momento dell'acquisto e 200 la light tube) e non è accettabile che non siano compatibili tra di loro. Mi sembra assurdo che un utente con tv di altro brand possa godere di un'esperienza migliore rispetto a chi invece ha già una tv philips con il tanto decantato ambilight. Se l'utilizzo che volete farne è l'estensione ambilight vi consiglio di pendere 3 hue play (che costano anche meno). Do infine la seconda stella soltanto perchè utilizzando la luce tramite app l'effetto gradiente multicolore è veramente bello.

Simplemente me encanta. La gama gradient no se parece a nada similar que podamos encontrar en el mercado. Es justo lo que hacía falta para que la experiencia fuese del todo inmersiva, siempre que se complemente con la tira para la televisión.

Works really well. Disappointed when I realized you had to buy the sync box and bridge to work. It became very expensive. In saying that our house is completely fitted out with Phillips hue lights and although expensive, they truly are the best.

Prodotto installato su una TV Philips con Ambilight a tre lati e con decoder già integrato (55OLED707/12). Completa perfettamente la cornice luminosa seguendo i colori a video. Unico neo, se utilizzata da sola come lampada permette la visione di più colori (fino a tre) in contemporanea seguendo varie sfumature mentre, se utilizzata come Ambilight della TV riproduce solo il colore predominante sullo schermo
