I was looking for a small carabiner for a craft project and found these (see top of first picture). I like them because unlike some other less expensive but similar products that are made of aluminum (see bottom of first picture), these are made of stainless steel and have an interlock feature. You can see the interlock in the second picture. The ends of the opened loop have teeth that interlock when closed, much like a handshake. This interlock feature contributes to the overall strength and security of the loop (in addition to the strength of the body of the loop itself). In comparison, the third picture shows the more common interleave used on less expensive products. One end of the open loop nestles between the split of the other end. The interleave will retain your items but contributes nothing to the overall strength and security of the loop, instead the (typically aluminum) body must bear the entire load. The fourth picture demonstrates that yes, there is ferrous (steel) material being used, since I am able to pick up the carabiner with a magnet. In summary, these small stainless steel carabiners are well made and have an interlock feature that contributes significantly to the overall strength of the loop, Plus they are very affordable and a good value.

These small stainless steel carabiners are well made and appear to be really durable. They fit nicely for small projects and open and close perfectly. They close and lock well. Good product and looks really nice.

It's impossible to state how many applications there are for these carabiners. I always have some in the house.

First, I would like to say, but I'm amazed people knock off a star or two because they obviously can't read the description that clearly gives you the size of these. It's not fair to the seller. So you can't complain about the size if you didn't check the measurements the seller provides. Common sense-READ the description!..... I have bought these in several brands, and they have all been cheap and don't have a nice snapback when you clip them, if that makes sense. These are thick, sturdy, and they spring back with that hard snap letting you know that they are attached to what you attach them to. I was so happy to finally find really good ones, as I use them for so many different things, I just bought another set! So thank you to the seller for offering a very good product for a very good price!

These are fine but I find the small end is not consistent in terms of its size and some of my rings don't fit properly probably need a little bit better quality control but for a cheap knockoff I guess it's not too bad.
