I bought this to replace my broken mic, works great. It's an exact fit/replacement for any Astro a40 or a50 headset.

Finding a replacement mic that fits my Astros is very irritating so seeing this on Amazon and when it’s really cheap it’s very nice. I suggest buying two of them instead of just one because five years later mine did breakdown.

My headset stopped working a few month back in July or June and I tried many different replacement parts like the wire to the head set and the amp it plugs into. It didn't even cross my mind that this part was the broken one. After replacing this peice I have my headset back but with 3 extra feet of wire so my headset won't get pulled off my head anymore

Works great bought a few months ago and haven’t had any problems!

Had my original a40 mic for 5 years, so the wire no longer stayed in the position I curved it to making it sit further from my mouth. I thought my mic quality had gone down over the years due to the casual wear and tear, but my friends say it sounds exactly the same. It works if you need a new mic, I just think it's overpriced. Then again, what isn't these days.

Easy to connect. Great clarity

Just like the standard one but doesn't stay up very well. Sometimes the boom falls away when you are talking. Fits great and sounds good.
