Used this to make do some homemade patch cables for my new wired network. The crimper worked well, used with passthrough ends, and it easily crimped and cut the excess cable. The wire cutter on also worked well, but the "stripper" on the tool was prone to cutting to deep and caused twisted pair to break. The included male rj45s worked well, although it was a trial to get the twisted pairs straightened out and fed through in the right order. The cable tester work fine, used it with a pass on all 10 lines I made using this kit. The mini-stripper push down tool included was mostly useless, it did not strip properly due to being bent. Overall this kit worked well, and enabled me to make custom CAT6 patch cables.

I have been looking for a decent RJ45 Crimping Tool for a long time to replace my old one. Then I found this network Crimper Kit that comes with a 3 in 1 compact crimper, a stripper, cable tester and 20pcs pass through connectors for a very reasonable price. The crimper is about half the size of my old crimper. This crimper got everything you need for crimping or installing ethernet cables. This crimper comes with a cutter, a built in stripper, a safety lock and the most feature i like on this crimper is the past thru wire connector cutter. It cuts all the wire at the ends of the connector the same time you crimp the connector, you don't even need to use a knife or blade to cut the wires (safety first) . That really save time and money if your a network cable installer. Pros: >>>Compact 3 in 1 crimping Tool >>>Solid construction >>>Built in wire cutter and wire stripper >>>Safety Lock >>>Wire Cutter for the pass through connectors >>>Cable Tester >>>20pcs. Pass Thru Connectors >>>Time Saver Cons: I can not find any replacement blade I really like this crimper hoping this will last longer than my old one. I hope this review helps.

Worked great. Crimped both ends of four POE camera wires as well as single ends of eight other cat6 wires running throughout the house. Only thing I wish it included was stress boots for the cables as well. Overall worth it though and having the diagram on the tool itself was handy.

Works fine. My only complaint is that the tester could use more sophistication. It quickly lights up for each wire to show a green light. I missed my cable being wired incorrectly because the lights go too fast. If they blinked out of order I may have missed it. It would be better if they all lit at once with a green light and had a red light for anything wired wrong. I probably would have caught the error under those circumstances. Anyway, I had to call in a tech to fix one cable. He explained that the cable going out to the dish was wired T568B instead of T568A. So I had a cable with each end wired differently and missed catching that with the tester.

Only thing is the hole to skin the wire is a bit big causing the wire to not be skinned properly. I usually use a blade so not that big of a deal. Works great otherwise.
