Very helpful! Love these little machines. I wanted to make sure I got Roomba brand because I worried that if I tried to save a penny by going with a similar functioning item, but by another brand, that they wouldn't communicate well. So, these work great! There is no noise that comes from these. They're sturdy! I do remove the batteries in between uses (no clue if that actually prolongs battery life). But when I pop the batteries back in, they work wonderfully. I get confused on which they need to point in order to speak with my Roomba, but that's a simple fix - just turn them the other way. :) I'm sure the manual notes that, but I was too excited to use them once they arrived. I feel like these things are small but mighty. They have 2 modes; and I have used both and apprecate them equally. I like that they take batteries rather than charge - not sure if others feel the same. They do a really great job of blocking off spaces that I don't want Roomba to go. Pros: price matches quality; easy to use; needs batteries; 2 modes; small but mightly; unobtrusive; compatible with my Roomba Cons: needs batteries

Last year we bought a Roomba i4 which came with one virtual wall. The Roomba works great and the wall barrier is handy to block off a section of hallway or a door that doesn't quite close properly. But with Christmas here one barrier isn't really enough to protect the Christmas tree and the presents under it. So we ordered two more. So far they work great. They will also be really useful when we want to vacuum just the kitchen (which has two entrances) or block off larger areas of the house. I also liked that these came with batteries, so that I could use them as soon as I got them. Overall I am really happy I ordered these.

INITIAL SITUATION Our Roomba e5 (we named him Roger) had some... behavioral issues. Like a puppy with zero spatial awareness, he kept attempting death-defying stunts off our ledge and getting himself trapped under furniture like he was training for robot escape rooms. Something had to be done. THE SOLUTION These dual virtual walls are basically robot training wheels. They create invisible "no-go" zones that even the most adventurous Roomba will respect. SETUP & USAGE ✓ Installation Time: Approximately 3 seconds (turn on, place, done) ✓ Modes: Virtual Wall (straight line barrier) or Halo (circular no-go zone) ✓ Compatible with: Roomba e5 and other E Series models ✓ Battery Impact: Minimal so far WHAT IT ACTUALLY DOES - Virtual Wall Mode: Creates an invisible force field that says "thou shall not pass" - Halo Mode: Projects a "do not enter" circle perfect for protecting pet bowls, fancy vases, or that one table your Roomba considers its arch-nemesis PRO TIPS - One unit is enough to block a ledge - place it right at the edge - The barrier activates instantly - no training period needed - Great for creating "timeout zones" for overly curious robots - HEADS UP: The instructional sticker is surprisingly stubborn - mine left behind a torn mess when removed. Consider living with the sticker or being extra patient during removal THE VERDICT Roger has finally learned that some areas are off-limits, and I no longer have to rescue him from his daily misadventures. It's like having an invisible fence for your robot vacuum - minus the guilt of shock collars. These little gadgets do exactly what they promise: keep your Roomba where it belongs without the need for physical barriers or robot therapy sessions. EFFECTIVENESS RATING Turning my rebel robot into a well-behaved cleaning machine: 10/10 Saving me from daily rescue missions: Priceless

I bought these sensors for my iRobot. They work great at keeping my iRobot from entering certain areas. Great product and great price. I would recommend it for anyone that needs to control the IRobot movements
