My husband built our chicken coop and we were trying to find a material that would work for the windows. I did some research and came across polycarbonate. It works great! It looks just like glass so it lets plenty of light in but you don't have to worry about it breaking or shattering. It's also very sturdy and durable. Highly recommended!

The 1/16" sheet is semi-rigid, clear, tough, and can be cut with snips or drilled with Forstner bits. I would say without heat will bend to about a 6-8" radius and will spring back.I had some success deeply scoring and snapping but you have to score very deeply. Cuts nicely with quality aviation-type sheet metal snips (wear gloves or be careful, same as with sheet metal). I was very pleased with making various size holes (1/2" to 1.5") with Forstner bits, but you **must keep your speed low** or you will melt the plastic. Also, I used a drill press; Forstner bits aren't very easy to use in a pistol drill with any material.

Quality product and I thought it was priced well. The film was a great tool for my measurements when cutting.

I made an aquarium top out of it. Easy enough to cut through and just strong enough to hold in place. I would imagine it would be good for a lot of projects.

This is my 3rd ordere and have been pleased with the product, it's packaging and the price. I broke a window in my garage door and didn't have a piece of glass so I used this and it looks much better than the glass one's I still have and much less susceptable to breaking.

The light is within 0-2 inches of the polycarbonate sheet. The reason is this is Highly reflective, resulting in loss of light penetration. It’s annoying because the sheet can blind you as you walk up to the tank. If the light is in full contact with the sheet, that’ll work, provided the light isn’t crazy hot. This sheet also will not load bear. So, you’ll want to position your light feet near the edges, or mount or suspend the lights. It does do a great job of limiting evaporation, but again, at the cost of significant light penetration loss and your ceiling being lit up from the reflection.

The best priced polycarbonate glass I could find. I was looking for lexan or plexi glass but this stuff suited my needs and looks and functions as well as plexi would have. This was even cheaper than the stuff I've found in stores. Came in three sheets which worked fine for my project. Clear like glass. Good quality and well packaged. Protective film kept the glass clean during installation. They even provide instructions on how to trim and work with the product.

I used these sheets to replace the glass panels in the window of my shed/workshop door which I have broken more than once while going in and out with tools and such. These panels were easy to score and break to the size I needed. The plastic is SO clear, it looks like glass and keeps rhe weather out without the danger of shattering. I'm so pleased.
