I don’t know what else to say about it other than the quality and performance is great. I have plenty of experience installing screens so I had no issue with the install (it can be a bit tricky with a couple steps of the install process.) I advise caution with trying to install a screen or other small devise repairs for someone with limited patience. :) it takes steady, patient hands and mind! Don’t forget to restart the phone after any parts install! You might need to connect to iTunes on a computer to complete the reboot. And you will lose features that the original screen was capable of. This is true of any replacement screen. Original and aftermarket iPhone parts cannot be made to work like the original parts unless someone can program them to communicate with the device. Thanks for another great product!

I installed the product and need my phone, therefore I was unable to return it for a replacement. The product works as intended and screen quality and responsiveness is as good as the original Apple screen, however, I was NOT able to secure the bottom of the screen with the two pentastar screws at the bottom. The screen remains slightly elevated form the chassis of the phone. I have removed the screen and reinstalled it twice while making sure that the locking tabs were in tact. Regardless, while inside a phone case it is NOT noticeable. I understand the when replacing the screen on any phone that this breaks the factory water proofing seal.

Just got done installing this screen on my XR. So far, so good. I opened the Notes app and scribbled all over the screen to make sure touch was registering correctly, which is was. No dead pixels that I can see, and colors/brightness appear same as OEM. I think some folks having issues may be damaging the very tiny and delicate connectors. Be very careful and don't force anything. Follow a good guide like iFixit's Before applying the new gasket, remove the old one completely with tweezers and spudger tool. My screen sits flush, as the OEM screen did. My only complaint about this kit is that the suction cup wasn't strong enough to lift the OEM screen. I did use a hair dryer to soften the adhesive. I ended up having to use a razor blade to cut a groove in the screen plastic, and then got a jewelers flathead in there to pry it up. The included screwdrivers are good quality, and I'm glad they included the black spudger, which some kits don't include (the blue ones are not very useful).

UPDATE: The screen worked for about 18 hours and then went dark. I needed my phone that day, so I had to take it to a local repair shop that basically charged me 5x what this screen cost. Returning and will not order this one again if needed. This is my third replacement screen for this phone (cracked the previous two- both worked fine up to that point). The tools that came with this screen (on left) are definitely nicer than the previous screens. But this one did not come with a magnetic mat to keep the tiny screws from getting lost or mixed up. Glad I had one from before; they are really helpful. The screen seems to be about the same as every other screen I’ve had. Directions were also about as clear as the previous ones, but being the third time, I really didn’t need them.

The Y screwdriver did not work after attempting to release the screws for over an hour and worried about scripting the screws, I stopped and was going to send the screen back. But instead, I ordered another Y screwdriver (0.6mm Y Tip Y000 Tri-point Triwing Y Shape Magnetic Tri Screwdriver for Apple iPhone 7 iPhone 7 Plus iPhone 8 iPhone 8 Plus iPhone X,iPhone XR, XS, XS Max, Apple Watch} to see if I could get the screws undone. Which worked the new screwdriver worked well and got all the screws released. I put the new adhesive in place. Open the new screen (it is in a separate container) and was surprised to find an extra "y" screw in the package. At this point, I thought someone must have returned this because the screwdriver did not work well and left one screw behind. I then transferred all the cables and got the screen ready to snap in place to find that the screen had a very back crack in the screen at the bottom. I cannot return it now that it is open, and my old screen is total trash. I have since seen a review about a screen problem. The screen works, BUT I wanted an untracked screen. If the company gets a return, they need to look at the returned goods to ensure they are not damaged before sending it out again. Could I have damaged it? It is possible, and if I had not seen the extra screw in the package, I would believe I had, but I do not think so. I would look for a better quality screen if I were you.
