Pyrex Prepware 1-Quart Measuring Cup, Clear with Red Measurements

This Pyrex Prep ware 1-Quart Clear Measuring Cup With Red Measurements is a must have for any kitchen. I bought this as I do a lot of baking for home, school, and church and always need multiple measuring cups. Pyrex are the most durable of any in my opinion. I love the sturdy non-porous glass because it won't absorb odors and the handle is very easy to hold onto. Dimensions are 4.1 inches x 8.1 inches x 6.1 inches. Also while baking it is easy to use it to mix, measure, and pour from. I really like the 1 quart size (4 cups) and the red markings are easy to see and they do not wear off. The glass is very strong and is microwave and dishwasher safe. It also allows you to pour fast or slow without spillage. I highly recommend adding this to your baking collection!

We used to only have 2 cup measuring cups here. So many times I've needed 2 1/2 cups of liquid and it was such a bother to go back to the sink just for 1/2 cup of water. I finally just went and ordered this Quart measuring cup. Wasn't a big deal to keep refilling the 2 cup one but, having this larger one makes cooking just a little easier. I love the pyrex measuring cups. I like how thick the glass is. I have confidence that the glass won't shatter when I use the measuring cups to boil water in the microwave.

Works as intended, great measuring cup. Markings are clear and visible, grip is sturdy, it's easy to clean and the cup feels solid and overall great. The cup feels heavy and durable, like it's going to be one of the things I leave to my non-existing grandchildren. Doubles as a cereal bowl. Can also hold other things, like flour and sugar. You don't have to limit yourself to liquids. Want to measure out a cup of chocolate chips? Do it! Sunflower seeds? Why not! Tapioca balls? If you're into that, sure! Great cup, buy one of these as opposed to the cheap plastic cups. If you're in the market for one, you won't regret it.

I've needed a large measuring cup for a long time. When I started canning I couldn't put it off any longer. This is a really nice one. Pyrex always seems to have nice glassware. I use it for canning, watering plants, mixing, and lots of other things. It's a really handy size to have around. The markings hold up to repeated washing. I don't have a dishwasher so I can't comment on how it holds up to repeated trips through the dishwasher. Great item to have around and worth the money. It arrived on time and was well packed. I recommend this item.

Have had a Pyrex 1-Quart Measuring Cup since I was 18 years old and moved out on my own. Since I moved in with my oldest daughter 17 years ago after my husband died, I gave my old Pyrex 1-Quart Measuring Cup to my daughter and it is used at least 4 times a week for something. Therefore, since I am going to move to an apartment a couple of states away, I felt like I wanted another Pyrex 1-Quart Measuring Cup for my own as I couldn't take the old one away from my daughter. I love all of the Pyrex measuring cups and they last for years and years. I would recommend everyone getting one of these as they are very handy for many different things besides just measuring.

I love this measuring cup. It's a perfect size for a variety of measuring, mixing and microwaving. Glass Pyrex measuring cups and bowls are perfect to measure your ingredients in and then just pop right in the microwave to heat up. The open handle is great to hold onto while mixing and also great to grab while removing hot ingredients out of the microwave. The handle doesn't get hot in the microwave. I have the 1 cup, 2 cup, 4 cup and the 8 cup measuring cups in Pyrex. They are great. I love the durable glass instead of plastic, so no worries about bacteria, odors or chemicals. The markings in red are easy to read too. They are also made in the USA. Highly recommend. This size is the one that I use the most in my kitchen. I use it every morning to make my grits in and almost every night to make my mashed potatoes in. Its also great to make pudding, melt butter and a variety of other foods.

I have used Pyrex products before and hence opted to buy their measuring jug too. It has clear markings and is a sturdy product with good finishing. It serves my purpose perfectly.

This Pyrex is best quality and worth buying. Its bit heavy so please be careful dont buy this for kids.

Expensive though.
