...guess you get what you pay for.Positives:1) It only cost me $8.572) I will be able to use it for a little while (until one of the post-its runs out; see below).Negatives:1) Worst thing IMO: The post-its and little bookmark flags can't be replaced, because they are actually *glued* to the unit (see picture). My assumption was that when it ran out of post-it notes I'd be able to replace them with new post-its. Guess Not2) Pen was not just broken; it was so badly broken that it was in tiny fragments. I'm just glad that ink didn't get all over everything. This is not such a biggie, since I have other pens.Update: OK - even though the pen was DOA, I've been using this kit a lot since I got it (with my Fisher Space pen that I bought on Amazon). I'm going to try to figure out a solution to replacing the post-its (still wish they weren't glued in so that they would be easily replaceable) because this is the best little kit for quick notes I've ever owned. I take it everywhere and jot down ideas, important points from conversations, etc. In some situations, physical note-taking beats electronic note taking.

I’m a nursing student and got this to keep track of my patient notes & values while running around during clinical time at the hospital. It’s perfect! Fits in my scrub pockets with no problem. Only issue I had was unhinging the pad clasp the first time. I wasn’t sure how it worked and it snapped hard, breaking the pen so it no longer stays in the loop, but I replaced the pen with another so it’s a non-issue. I haven’t had to use the sticky notes much so can’t comment on how long or well they stick, but I use them for quick notes that I get rid of w/i10 hours and have had no issues. Overall I’m very happy with it.

I got this to have on hand in my purse, because I'm always looking for a piece of paper to write a note. It's okay. The sticky note does not adhere that well. I am happy with the design and the convenience, though. The sticky pads can be replaced, I guess.The pen handle was broken in the package upon receipt. The company should package the pen better so that this doesn't happen, because without the pen handle it slides through the loop.

I really like the design concept and intend to use it as long as it holds together. That being said, the notebook material is a flimsy plastic “leatherette” and the pen loop has already torn off after 4 days. The lock mechanism on the main notepad is very very cheap and it remains to be seen how soon it will break.I’d pay more for better quality.

It's great to look at, first of all NONE of the post it notes stick for more than a few minutes before they start curling up and coming loose. Then after 10 minutes they fall off what you had them hanging on. Then the clip board side worked fine until you want to replace the note pad with a new one and you can't open up the clip to put new one in. We had everyone try to open it and did not budge at all. The concept is great idea, but nothing about it worked.
